A 60 year old patient with left arm pain and giddiness had a differential blood pressure in both arms. He had a normal arterial Doppler (done elsewhere), so got an MRI cervical spine done, which showed mild compression of cervical spinal cord.
We did an angio which showed a tight left subclavian ostial stenosis which was stented with a 8mm stent.
Please note the complete absence of vertebral artery in the first angio. Also note the negative contrast in the subclavian artery from the vertebral artery. Once stenting is done, the flow in the left vertebral artery is normal. Subclavian steal at its stealthiest best.

🔸Lower resting HR and higher VO2 Max- are associated with better cardiovascular fitness and lower risk of cardiovascular diseases.
🔸Running can do both- lower the Resting HR, and increase the VO2 Max.
🔸I have also enclosed stats of a 2021 run. You can see that average running HR has remarkably reduced over the past 5 years
🔸Similar improvement occurred with regards to RHR too- dropped from 70s to 40s.

Sleep is not a luxury; it is neuroprotection.
This is not just a graphic, it is based on PET scan data showing what happens to your brain’s "fuel" (glucose metabolism) after just one night of missed sleep.
The drop in activity in the prefrontal cortex and thalamus is staggering.
In fact:
👉 17 hours without sleep = Mental performance of someone with 0.05% blood alcohol concentration (BAC).
👉 24 hours without sleep = Equivalent to 0.10% BAC (higher than the legal driving limit).
When you skip sleep, your brain doesn't just "feel" tired, it functionally slows down. You are not being "productive" by staying up; you are operating a compromised machine.
Prioritize rest. Your brain will thank you with better focus, better mood, and faster processing tomorrow.

@vcheruku10 @Dynamicinvstr The screenshot shows the fund as "KICI Prudential" instead of the official "ICICI Prudential Focused Equity Fund." This misspelling likely indicates editing, and the "K" might be what you're seeing as a differing "C." Official sources confirm it's ICICI.
