The Qantas board structured Alan Joyce's pay so he gets a $5.5 MILLION bonus if Qantas turns a profit in FY2022-23, off a base salary of $2.17 million. That's a 400% pay rise - but they expect Qantas' workers to be happy with an extra 1%. They've got to be kidding.

Yesterday, an older female volunteer was handing out #Mon4Kooyong HTV cards when a tall grey-haired man approached and aggressively hissed "Fuck off!" through his teeth in response. Taken aback, another volunteer explained: "That wasn't a voter. That was Alexander Downer."
