i hate it when people make john hate other characters because he's so friendly and sees the best in everyone. he's literally incapable of holding a grudge or hating anyone. he either likes you or doesn't care. he cares so much but he's also too emotionally repressed to show it. -

@privdoesstuff huh ok, i don't think it's like that lol. it's just how the story goes with john being john who just happened to interact with tavros when he found the ring. the next time john saw tavros, he even complimented his pirate outfit. i genuinely do not see where the hate is.
