The CHESS guest lecturer this week is Dr. Martin McKneally. Dr. McKeally is the Founding Chair and Member of the Surgical Ethics Group, Senior Associate, at Harvard Medical School Center for Bioethics Dr. McKneally will be lecturing on informed consent.

The CHESS Surgical Ethics Fellowship is thrilled to welcome back guest lecturer Peter Boumgarden. Peter is the Director of the Koch Family Center for Family Enterprise at Olin Business School. Peter will be lecturing on business ethics.

The CHESS Surgical Ethics Fellowship is excited to have Dr. Kenan Omurtag lecture on reproductive endocrinology & infertility this week. Dr. Omurtag is a Reproductive Endocrinologist at Washington University.

CHESS is thrilled to have Dr. Theresa Williamson as the CHESS lecturer this week. Dr. Williamson will be lecturing on racism & bias. Dr. Williamson is a Neurosurgeon at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School and a member of the HMS Center for Bioethics.

CHESS is proud to have Dr. Douglas Hanto as this week's CHESS fellowship lecturer. Dr. Hanto will be lecturing on transplant ethics. Dr. Hanto is the Lewis Thomas Professor of Surgery Emeritus at Harvard Medical School and a member of the HMS Center for Bioethics.

CHESS is thrilled to welcome Patricia Olynyk as the guest lecturer on ethics & art. Patricia Olynyk is the director of the Graduate School of Art and Florence and Frank Bush Professor of Art in the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at WashU.

Thank you to Dr. Christian Vercler for being the CHESS Fellowship guest lecturer this week! Dr. Vercler is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, where he also serves as Chief of Pediatric Plastic Surgery.

The CHESS Surgical Ethics Fellowship lecturer this week is Dr. Douglas Brown. Dr. Brown is a Surgical Ethics Specialist and a member of the CHESS faculty team. Dr. Brown will be lecturing on Euthanasia.

The CHESS Surgical Ethics Fellowship lecturer this week is CHESS Director, Dr. Piroska Kopar! Dr. Kopar will be lecturing on dual agency. Dr. Kopar is an associate professor at Washington University School of Medicine in acute and critical care surgery.

CHESS is proud to welcome Dr. Baddr Shakhsheer as the guest lecturer this week! Dr. Shakhsheer is an assistant professor of surgery and a pediatric surgeon at the University of Chicago Medicine. Dr. Shakhsheer will be lecturing on pediatric surgery.

The CHESS Surgical Ethics Fellowship is thrilled to have Dr. Felix Lui as their guest lecturer this week! Dr. Lui is an Associate Professor of Surgery and the Director of the Surgery Clerkship Program at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Lui will be lecturing on futility.

Andrew Yee, PhD is a medical science manager at Intuitive Surgical and a member of the 23-24 CHESS Fellowship! Dr. Yee applied to the fellowship to strengthen his knowledge of ethics to address the rapid innovation of artificial intelligence and machine learning in surgery.
