Every chess player has their own followers. For some it's just parents and friends, for others, it's millions. It's significantly easier to notice when chess stars play, but what about everyone else? This problem started bothering me when I saw my GM friend's Instagram story -him with other GMs. I figured he was probably playing somewhere, and it took me quite some time to find his games (now it's so easy with ChessEver). I was right. Then I wish I had known when he was playing so I could have followed it live. Fast forward a year, we built exactly that with ChessEver. Now you can get notified whenever your favorite players play, for free. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Rasulov's game when I woke up, though not pleased with the results 😄

Liang Awonder responded to 4.g4?! instantly with the best possible move. Apparently he had already studied this line! How would you have responded here with Black?

Nakamura played the best positional move here instantly. What would you play here?

After last Titled Tuesday, we heard you. Notifications have been improved, so you won't get spammed. We'd love your feedback on how they feel now and on ChessEver in general. Every bit helps us build something better.

@chesseverapp Since, 5. g5 forces black knight back on g8, I would certainly play, 4. ... h6.

@c_kennaugh Sounds like the most natural move if you don't mind g5.

@chesseverapp g5 would be a hassle from white, so I'd go for h6 first.

@chesseverapp Classically a flank attack is met by a central counterstrike, so …d5 is the natural move.

I compared Chesscom, Lichess, and ChessEver to find the best game of 2025.

Wild moment from the Chesscom Play-In. Matlakov lost connection with a minute and a half on the clock in this winning position. This win opened Abdusattorov's path to qualifying for the Chesscom Open. He then beat Wesley So in their match and qualified.
