Also wanted to highlight our time with Mr. Glenn out in the field! @ConnorGross01 and I had a great time taking part in educating youth in a hands-on atmosphere. Thank you @GetGrowingHou for allowing us to tag along for a day during our #WFPFGOLS Spring Immersion!

Day 7 of the #WFPFGOALS Spring Immersion included a quick trip to @TAMU for the Norman Borlaug Youth Institute! The day was spent with Texas youth discussing hot topics happening around the globe. Then it was a long flight back home to the colder weather. The end to a great trip!

Day 6 of the #WFPFGOALS Spring Immersion, and today we got to see a newer program at Westside High School! The day was filled with environmental sciences classes, garden upkeep, and a school Prairie! We rounded the evening out with an evening against the skyline and art!

Day 5 of the #WFPFGOALS Spring Immersion included wrapping up@our lessons @btw_hou_agsci! The day consisted of learning how to engage in our community, and finding the connection between art and food insecurity. Then it was a quit trip the Galveston for some sight seeing! 🤠

Day 4 of the #WFPFGOALS Spring Immersion consisted of visiting the Food and Agriculture Literacy Center at Mykawa Farm, a program that aids in connecting the gap from farm to table and food insecurity! Then a fireside chat on school violence led by the Mayor and Chief of Police!

The PSU FFA Alumni and Supporters are hosting the 2023 Teach Ag Essay Contest! 🤩 The theme of this year's contest is "Growth." 🌳 All submissions are due no later than 11:59pm on Friday, April 28. 🗓️ Questions can be directed to Brandon Bixler at bsb5407@psu.edu.

Day 3 of the #WFPFGOALS Spring Immersion and it was well spent @btw_hou_agsci! A day filled with teaching, growth moments, smiling faces, and new connections. The days nightlights included: fist bumps from my students, hearing about my teacher voice, and getting to grade!!

Day 2 of the #WFPFGOALS Spring Immersion was full of city exploration! On top of attending a service @lakewoodchurch, our team visited a local historical art gallery, and spend a beautiful Sunday with Ms. Watson as our tour guide. On to day 3 tomorrow and our classroom experience

Day 1 in Houston, Texas for the #WFPFGOALS Spring Immersion! Today we spent time at a local market, some sight seeing at a beautiful park, and then rounded out the day attending the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo! Not to mention seeing a new program evolve aiding Texas youth!
