Extremely specific life advice: you can convert Fahrenheit to Celsius with the stops on the 6 train. 33 St =0° 42 St=5° 51 St=10° 59 St=15° Works to 96th St!

It’s inevitable that contracts will be negotiated by agents within the next decade. Business will speed up so much that humans won’t be able to keep up with day-to-day contracts between companies. Lawyers will set the policies and audit— agents will be trusted to do the rest. This sounds irresponsible, until you realize what the error rate is for human contract managers—fairly high. I believe agents will be a safer way to negotiate rudimentary agreements within the decade, just like self-driving is now safer than human driving. This chart will exist for basic business contracts:

@abhijitwt This is the 'platform risk' era of AI. If your startup is just a thin wrapper or basic workflow automation, you are essentially doing free product research for Anthropic and OpenAI. The only moats left are proprietary data and deep physical integrations.

This is a shut down event. Biggest snow in 5 years for NYC region. 1st blizzard warning for NYC in 8 years. Won't be too bad Sunday until after dark. Snow drifts of 2 to 3 feet likely Monday. Multi day recovery for airlines.

A Stanford professor analyzed 1,000's of angel investments to find out who's had the MOST unicorns. The results are fascinating. - David Morin tops the list with 23 unicorns - Peter Thiel and Lee Linden follow with 21 each - David Sacks at 20 - Marc Benioff at 19 A few things that stand out: 1) Almost every top angel was a founder or exec at a large tech company first. The clear signal here - they were mostly operators who earned their access. 2) Many co-invested together repeatedly. Thiel, Sacks, and Levchin all overlapped at PayPal and went on to back the same unicorns (Facebook, Airbnb, Palantir Technologies, SpaceX). 3) No women appear in the top 50. Sad. 4) The entry threshold to make this list is 9 unicorns (nuts!). The average unicorns across the top 50 is 13 (more nuts!). I share this for folks to have inspiration to angel invest themselves! There has NEVER been a better time - we are at a major tech inflection point. If you're thinking about angel investing and forming angel syndicates, you should check out Verivend. Automated capital calls, one-click funding for co-investors, real-time visibility into who's in. Seamless software with a great team to hold your hand through it. Try it yourself: lnkd.in/grrJxqxq Full credit to Ilya Strebulaev and his team at the Stanford for this research.

@ZachAbramowitz The question is how will VCs recoup the investment if the $ is spent on FDEs and services (non-scalable), assuming no TAM expansion, no canibalization of law firm/client revenue or pure software development, when so much of the “legal product” depends on firm/infoprovider data?

I have zero rooting interest in this Broncos/Bills game but the fact that 2 VERY touchy pass interference calls pretty much decide the game in what other than that was an amazing game is a disservice to the sport

For the umpteenth thousandth time in football TV history, Tony Romo calls a play while the teams are waiting for the snap and then it is perfectly executed. This is his special talent as an analyst. 🐐

Who is disrupting law in the USA with an AI lawyer? Are people beginning to represent themselves in court using AI? Drafting their own commercial contracts in which you have a BD person with AI practicing law vs a lawyer on the other?

Peace in the Middle East? China threatening critical supply chains? Government shutdown? George S doesn’t care about that. He’s here to focus on the real story: a fake scandal involving Tom Homan.
Rapid Response 47@RapidResponse47

.@VP nukes George Slopidopolous for obsessing over made-up Fake News BS while not asking a single question about the Democrat Shutdown: "Here's, George, why fewer and fewer people watch your program..." George gets big mad, cuts @VP off, and goes to commercial 🤣

My Wife: “Why did the Yankees take the good pitcher (Max Fried) out?” Me: “He was at 102 pitches.” My Wife: “Well, he should’ve thrown more.” Honestly, can’t argue with her.

@JDVance With all due respect, this is clearly not what she (or millions of Americans) mean with: thoughts and prayers are not enough. What specific actions will the administration take to end gun violence? Tired of our kids doing shooter drills at school bc it’s as expected as a fire.

Of all the weird left wing culture wars in the last few years, this is by far the most bizarre. “How dare you pray for innocent people in the midst of tragedy?!” What are you even talking about?

We pray because our hearts are broken. We pray because we know God listens. We pray because we know that God works in mysterious ways, and can inspire us to further action. Why do you feel the need to attack other people for praying when kids were just killed praying?
Jen Psaki@jrpsaki

Prayer is not freaking enough. Prayers does not end school shootings. prayers do not make parents feel safe sending their kids to school. Prayer does not bring these kids back. Enough with the thoughts and prayers.
