Last week we used number lines, and today Ss used equations to make equivalent fractions. Ss response...the equation is just like adding more marks to the number line! Finished up with @gfletchy 4 in a row equivalence! #fractions @1burgschools

Thanks to the support from the Williamsburg Historical Society, 4th grade Ss were able to experience learning outside the classroom at The Rankin House & Chilo Park! It was a great day @1burgschools @Wildcats_WES

What Ss see is how it takes less moves to win the cube if the denominator is smaller. What the T hears is the discussion that gets them to this realization while they are having fun and not realizing what they are learning! #learnwithIM #mathgames @Wildcats_WES
