@boschindia we raised a complaint about our fridge (Service Order No. 6970660417) on 16th May. Despite repeated follow-ups there has been no resolution. Have never seen worst service than this.

@gengisclive @gauravsabnis Idiots don't even know their own culture. My fav fast as a kid used to be durga ashtami because the one meal HAD to be mutton. Wasn't Ram hunting deers in the forest?

India is now straight up banning sales of eggs for days at a stretch for some festival or other. Doesn't matter if you're Hindu or if you celebrate the festival. No eggs for you. Malnutrition Superpower! We honor our gods through protein deficiency & diabetes triggers

@SpiffyHobbes To be fair, I let my kid do that sometimes inside the apartment complex as well, but that's inside a gated community and we'd be driving at like 10kmph. But even at 3 yrs old he understood that he is not supposed to ask for it on outside roads.

Any parent that allows their kid to ride like this just wants to get rid of the kid and have a new one. I can’t get over the fact that Indian parents are treating kids like the first dosa on a new tawa.

according to psychology people who often talk to themselves build fake scenarios and have full conversations in their heads often assume it’s normal. but in reality, it’s a form of self regulation, away to process emotions when there’s no one who truly understands them. 1/5

@TheAbhinitKumar @theskindoctor13 Appreciate the sentiment and calling out the body shaming. I just can't understand why every msg about respecting women ties us to being someone's mother/sister/wife? Why can't we simply be respected for being individuals? Why is our worth tied to being someone's something?

It is deeply disappointing to see a supposed 'ideal' engage in thoughtless commentary on a woman's body and clothing. Such remarks reveal a very poor mindset. Remember, every woman is someone's mother or sister. There is a line that should never be crossed, even when you disagree with someone's views. Let's think before we speak and show basic human respect. #RespectWomen #ThinkBeforeYouTweet #BodyPositivity #Decency #Humanity

There’s no greater hater of humans and their kids than the classic obese, middle-aged, bored-rich NGO aunty, cruising around in her SUV, dressed in bed-worn pajamas or shorts, driving to colonies she doesn’t live in, feeding stray dogs like she’s doing God’s work, while looking in disgust at every actual human being who dares to walk past.

On a serious note. I have like 3-4 prayer sessions a day, for the past 2 years. This includes our family devotion. I cannot have someone nullify my success or try silence me. When I tweet about my books being bestsellers, my place or my new 4x4, yey, it's all because I'm in awe of God. That man has honoured so many of my plans.

So you believe in Hindu mythology eh? Ramayana, Mahabharata etc etc? There are 16 references to Brahmins consuming Beef in Ramayana. SIXTEEN! But you want to lynch people for eating Beef now?! Are you anti-Hindu?!

@gauravsabnis I think it is more an outcome of the arranged marriage in general and less because of the caste system (which I generally agree is a root cause of many of our problems) because it's not like those families allow the offspring to choose on their own even within the same caste.

90% Indians marry within their caste, arranged. In that "market", the woman is expected to be good looking in addition to everything else. Men, in the Brahminical system, just have to have a good career or family wealth, not looks. How many matrimonials mention male looks?
Nicole Braganza@nicohla

@gauravsabnis It's true. But what's the caste system connect?

I don't think I've met an Indian man in the last 5 years, right or left, who didn't share their critique of Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez with me. She's either too leftist or not leftist enough and would do well to listen to our advice it seems.

@gauravsabnis This is what happens at the intersection of ingrained casteism extending to disregard of dignity of labour (lowly groundsman aukaat me reh) and entitlement coming from political backing.

Thighs and legs also have a bunch of amino acids like glycine valine etc that have distinct sweet and umami flavors. That the breast doesn't have. Chemistry wise, chicken breasts and thigh are different. @tikulli

Bit of a misconception. Chicken leg thigh do have a distinct flavor, from the fats and other tendons cartilage bone. Even if cooked with just salt. Rendered chicken fat is tastiest animal fat imho. Breast leanness is what makes it bland & texturally easy to rubberize.
Tikuli D@tikulli

@gauravsabnis Chicken in itself is bland. It's the marinade or spices /herbs that make it delicious. I'm a huge fan of chicken breasts. Lean protein, quick to cook, tender and juicy if cooked right.
