I have a weird feeling that if Kaydn Proctor is still available at 25 when the #Bears are on the clock, Ryan Poles won’t hesitate to draft him.
He’s just 20 years old and a massive human being at 6-7 366 pounds. Has excellent mobility for a man his size.

@chicalgobears @BearsNationCHI Of course. We have lots of holes the more picks the better and it seems 25-60ish or more seem to be similar calibre type this year….be nice to get at least one extra

@chicalgobears @BearsNationCHI If you trade down to say 35 players like Zion will be avail. There’s a few that are the same calibre, no point trading up. They will be rotational DE. To be honest I’d wait until end of second for my DE the calibre is similar and they are all rotational players for now

@bosman1973 @BearsNationCHI It depends on who is available. If someone of Burden’s calibre falls like he did last year, they would definitely be worth considering. I am not sure that will happen again, but if someone like Zion Young is still there, then it becomes a real option.

@EDuerrwaechter I’m intrigued by Keylan Rutledge, he can play both guard and centre, and his versatility really stands out. He’s an absolute bully in the trenches, and could slot in behind GB while offering depth as a swing guard if needed. Late day 2 pick…. 👀

@BearsNationCHI First choice trade down. Unless someone really drops. Not likely for the standout players. The player they get at 35 ish for the positions they covet are just as good as at 25. Imo

@Hoodiiishai @Pete_Martuneac @HGrahamNFL You’re looking at it statistically instead of logically. It’s an upgrade at a position we don’t even need to upgrade. It’s a cost vs value issue. He would want top RB money which kills our cap flexibility right when we need it for franchise players. That’s not smart team building

The answer is 25 yards.
I thought Swift did a much better job last season with his between-the-tackle vision and getting tougher yards, but the home runs disappeared.
He did have a couple huge plays in the passing game FWIW.

If jaquan brisker was a dude on any other team and the bears signed him that contract you'd all be yelling at Poles for penny pinching and signing nobodies again. He's a thoroughly average at best player at a fungible position. Its fine
