Tw: pet death I'm so sorry to say Maeve's health deteriorated over the last 12 hours, and while being admitted to her avian vet she arrested and they couldn't get her back. I'll be away for a while.

I'm hoping she'll eventually get strong enough to go out into the flock...but she may be a forever house chicken. Thanks again to everyone for all of your support! You guys always make Chickam so fun that it's well worth it.🥰

Welp...It's time to end Chickam.Mammon is as big as he is gonna get, and is being a constant sex pest for Blazikin--climbing on her and then just standing there while she struggles and yells,we're having to pick him off her constantly.

So tonight as it's getting dark, after a severe wing trimming off into the coop he'll go. Blazi, however, still can't go out into the yard. So we'll break down the brooder box and put her in a large birdcage lined with hay that we can set on the floor.
