If I could tell the President one thing right now it'd be that nobody is really upset with the fact that the United States left Afghanistan. I think for the most part, a lot of us had been pushing for it for a while now. It's HOW we left that everyone (rightfully) is upset with.

Uzbek army shot down an Afghan A-29B Super Tucano fleeing the country. Current reports are that both pilots survived after crashing.

#Breaking The Uzbek army shot down a US-delivered Afghan air force A-29 "Super Tucano" over its airspace last night. Apparently, the pilots tried to flee to #Uzbekistan, but did not identify properly. At least one of the pilots survived and was treated by Uzbek military doctors.

An ACARS message just sent to a USAF C-17 Globemaster en route to #Afghanistan seems to suggest that if the plane returns with anything other than the crew and cargo they will be turned away from Al Udeid airbase in #Qatar and sent to #Kuwait. Is Qatar refusing refugee flights?

Taliban started door to door search looking for govt officials, former police & security forces members & those who worked for foreign countries NGOs or infrastructures in Afghanistan. At least 3 journalists' houses were searched in the last hour. Kabul is now becoming deadly..
