I’m still reliving the experience from the Wealth and Wellness event on Saturday. These women turned up from distances - Lester, Birmingham, Milton Keynes etc🎉 I’m so humbled and grateful at the same time. It further buttresses the need for community and safe spaces.

Ngl, adult friendships require grace. People are very busy. People are healing. People are growing. People are taking time for self care just like you. Less communication isn’t less love. Check in not out.

@sugabelly lol even as kids, the ROI on male children to female children is incomparable. Hopefully our generation will do a better job of raising boys to be solid men and fathers. The bar is too low

There is a simple reason why all over the world, fathers do not receive as many gifts or as much recognition from their children as mothers do. They are simply not as good or as valuable or as worthwhile parents as mothers are Fathers should work harder to be as good as mothers
YOM🗣️@ThaBoyYom

Hard to count 10 9ja celebrities that built/bought a house for their fathers Ok maybe 10 is too much, just 5. Either the Man don already d!e.. Or na their Mama dem buy am for. 8 outta 10, fatherhood na thankless job.

@tosinolaseinde Increase their income and aggressively invest. They will have to make sacrifices that may not make sense to everyone. They also need to diversify their income and look for more ways to have ownership, working smart without working hard

@GloriousGod01 No vagina, No opinion. Did you ask your mum how it felt to give birth to 8 children vaginally? Or you just assumed she enjoyed the process? You’re looking for a woman to risk her life and wellbeing for your meaningless approval of being a “strong woman”

My mother gave birth to at least 8 children, every single one vaginally with no C-section. Out of those 8 children, 6 are married, and each already has at least 2 children. Not one of those grandchildren was delivered by C-section. My parents have 4 daughters. All are married, and every one of them has given birth to at least 2 children, all vaginally. They also have 2 sons whose wives have each delivered at least 2 children, all naturally through vaginal birth. Today, my parents have over 12 grandchildren, and not a single one was brought into this world via C-section. I am not against C-section when a doctor declares it medically necessary. But I am completely against the modern trend of women trying to normalize it as a casual or preferred choice. Again, Unless a doctor clearly states that my wife requires a C-section for medical reasons, she will deliver our children vaginally. She will give birth like the strong Hebrew women of old. No kñ!fe. No exceptions. I believe in family patterns as against "modern" normalization. Above all, love God.
Glorious God@GloriousGod01

I don't care how you people see this but just so you know, My wife cannot on her own decide to deliver by Caesarean section. I have heard that some women no longer want to deliver vaginally and are opting for CS even when a vaginal birth is perfectly safe. That is unacceptable to me. Unless the doctor advises or recommends a CS due to medical reasons, she must deliver vaginally the way a woman should. Fear of pushing is not an excuse. I will not allow any woman to carry my child and then choose CS simply because she is afraid of labour pain. Fear of pushing is not a medical condition. Above all, love God.

Parents - put your phones out of sight when you’re with your kids. I really mean this. Especially at home. Treat it like a landline and “hang it up” in one place. (Wife and I have a little holder for them in the kitchen) When you need to check it, go over to where it’s placed and look at it, then walk away. Do not carry it around like a digital pacifier. Be present without it in sight. I guarantee this will make a huge impact on their childhood experience.

lol 😂. I’ve vibe coded websites that have brought me $15k in revenue just this year alone. I’ve streamlined my workflows, outsourced the mental load of meal planning, and created financial calculators and dashboards, all with the help of AI I could go on but you get the gist
bedouin@bedouincap

we are being gaslit about AI on a societal level. Everybody is vibe coding but I haven’t seen one useful thing get produced. Everybody has agents doing something but nothing useful is getting done. Cool you had AI summarize a PDF and make a template. Nice

Let me tell you about the picture in Frame 1. In August 2017, as a litigation lawyer in Lagos, I had work to do that required me to be at the office during the weekend. There was only one problem that weekend. I had a 16 months old son, no nanny and no one to leave him with at home so I asked my boss if I could bring him with me and she was gracious enough to agree. While I was working, my son fell asleep and I had to lay him down on the floor beside my table. In that moment, I took a picture of him sleeping and made a promise to myself that if I ever had my own firm, at some point in that journey, no woman working with me who had a caregiver emergency and needs to be at work will have to lay her baby on the floor. That same day, I thought of my struggles as a breastfeeding mother in the workplace and promised again that no woman working with me who had a baby will ever have to struggle for a private space to use her breast pump at work, relieve her aching breast to focus and save some quality milk for her baby. Frame 2 Today, we finished the renovation of our office building complete with a nursing room. Litigation is tough for women. The firm should not make it tougher. Strichland LP has a nursing room and today, by the grace of God, I kept that promise. ❤️ #WomenInLitigation
