@theafroaussie Apparently, it's cyclical or seasonal. Happens before summertime and offers opportunities for looting stores of items normally beyond their financial reach.

South African friends and mutuals - can y’all give me a run down of what sparked this particular outbreak of xenophobic violence? I’m aware of its history, but what exactly occurred this time?

@AishaDaughter The SA tragedy is excusable on the grounds of mass hysteria caused by mass psychotic derangement. The Settlers ran a serious number on these guys - the rest of us must have empathy, patience & love. Alkebulan must unite.

I have had to block over 20 fake Pan Africanists from South Africa who are being apologists for the Afrophobic attacks on black immigrants in South Africa or simply trying to trivialise or excuse these attacks..

@AishaDaughter The gentleman is touching on something primal & disturbing, all the more so when considered against the background of SAfricans' Afrophobia whilst unashamedly parading their Europhilia. The damage done to the black psyche is deep, with degrees of psychosis varying from ppl to ppl

Finally, someone articulated what I have been saying for a long time. At this point it is self depreciation ritual.. I only go to majority black Masjid, stopped watching Anime, European football, don't etc because of racism. I will never go to countries like Japan, Ukraine etc

@adeoluorisa @dqueenwarrior Most ibo and igbo are semi-literate, they bandy around English words they don't fully understand the meaning or context in which it should be used. If she understood what culture shock truly meant she wouldn't have used it in this sense with regards to the host's language

You visited a Yoruba city and exprienced alleged to experience “cultural shock” because the people are speaking their indigenous language? You people will not stop surprising me. Imagine visiting paris and call speaking French a cultural shock? And expect them to automatically be switch to English/pidging because of you. The whole city need to come to a halt. What an arrogant utterance. So if I visit Awka and call Igbo language a cultural shock. How does that sound to you? Cultural shock is not even about what you are talking about, because you cannot be shocked by people speaking their own language. It is supposed to be normal/natural. In fact, you are supposed to be “shocked” if they are not speaking Yoruba. You are a Nigerian referring to a Nigerian language as a cultural shock. The same Lagos people from all over the world do visit and never say such. We all know there’s alterior motive behind your “cultural shock”. Keep it up. Time will tell.

More games in Southern cities: Lagos, Portharcout, Enugu, etc, was because the international community, amongst other things required a place where most ppl could give directions in English. They expected, naturally, that communication would not be a problem in Lagos.

her place. Honestly, this reminds of a story I told earlier on X about how.Abacha canceled the hosting of FIFA Junior World cup, it held at a later date I think. The reason was he wanted the North to host as many games as the South. One of the reasons FIFA gave for scheduling

Stupidity is very cancerous. Awolowo was not a soldier, and neither was he C-in-C of the armed forces. The Biafran War (Let's be accurate - that's what it was), was a genocidal war that only the Fulanis fully understood. The Igbos came very close to understanding it, but did not realise that they were just the second major group to be targeted by the Fulanis, after the Hausas. The Middlebelters, who unwittingly helped advance the larger, hidden Fulani agenda, were next, and that included even the Muslims amongst the various nations, like the Gwaris, Nupes, Sayawas and others. The Yorubas represent a bigger, much more complicated challenge to Muslim Fulani imperialistic ambitions in Africa, so they started their Yorùbá subjugation project just a few years before independence, and have never stopped since. The "treasonable felony" trials they used to railroad Obafemi Awolowo and several other Yorùbá patriots into jail was the first significant salvo they fired against the Yorubas, and they actually thought they had won, until the January 1966 Coup by Patriotic Soldiers from all over the country put a spanner in the works. They have tried all manner of Jihad against the Yorùbá nation. Political jihad has been defeated severally. Sex/marriage jihad is ongoing. Then there is "religious" jihad through the extremist Islamic groups. Assymetric warfare is a time-honoured Fulani war tactic. Having failed with all those, they have resorted to kinetic jihad - killings and kidnapping. Now, where Awolowo comes into this is that Nigeria has actually been in an undeclared Civil War since "independence", with only one side - the Muslim Fulanis - being fully aware, since they are the ones seeking to subjugate the rest of us and dominate the territory called Nigeria. This Nigerian Civil War continues to this date, and has neither been won nor lost. In the end, when all Indigenous Nigerians - Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, Berom, Kajuru, Berom, Tiv, Esan, Edo, Urhobo, Itsekiri, Ijaw, Ebira, Igala, Bariba, Kalabari, Annang, Efik, Ibibiọ, Kanuri and ALL others, come together against the Fulani Muslim Jihadist Terrorists in all areas, then, and only then, will the Nigerian Civil War truly come to an end.
𝗔𝗱𝗲́𝘀𝗶́𝗻𝗮̀ 🇳🇬@OryHarde

The first and the last man to ever win a Civil war without bullet. Obafemi Awolowo.

@queenee02 Her experiences r not bad. Perhaps the ppl she came across hd reason 2 assume she's Yoruba, not necessarily a bad thing. She'll learn basic words very quickly & tht also is not a bad thing. It's called broadening one's horizon, & tht's part of the reason she's in Lagos

"I will vote Tinubu because he is Yoruba" 167 Yoruba women and children from Woro, Kwara State have been in terrorist captivity since February. What has your Yoruba president done? Nothing, till now. Dozens of Yoruba people were kidnapped from a church in Ekiti State. Terrorists are demanding billions. What did the Yoruba president do? He announced to the country that he will be taking a trip abroad. While innocent Yoruba people are being held by Fulani jihadists in the bush in Yoruba land. Your Yoruba president is travelling abroad. But you are on the Internet saying "Master strategist and Jagaban" Abi Jagajaga? You have a mental illness.

@Waspapping_ You're entitled to your opinion. But the world knows in a country with a semblance of an even playing field, minionship would be hard for you to escape. However, with things as they are in the game of life, he is considerably more successful than you can ever possibly be.
