The more electricity something uses, the more heat is generated in the wiring. NEVER use power strips or extension cords to power an air conditioner, refrigerator, or anything that draws a lot of power. Anything that uses a lot of power should always be plugged straight into the outlet. No extension cords. No splitters. No power strips. We don't want to fight a fire right now. It's too hot outside. Ask anyone who has experienced a fire, and they will tell you they are NOT fun. Zero stars - Would not recommend.
