Back to Life! 🔥 A few days ago, a fellow miner reached out on Discord — brand new Octaxe 3.1 stuck in Vreg Overheat protection. First inspection told the story: one lone CSD glowing red-hot at +95°C (first picture). I gave him the honest verdict: 50/50 shot. Could be a single faulty CSD (quick & affordable fix) or the whole unlucky set of five. He didn’t hesitate — he just wanted his machine back online. Lucky break: It was just the one bad CSD. (Though I had to laugh — if this had happened on one of my builds, I’d be replacing all five. Classic!) One focused hour later, the Octaxe was humming again like nothing ever happened. @karpuzmining Oh that’s terrible! The SilenX is great but it only has two opposite mounting slots which can be fiddly to install. There’s a new updated model being sold by @solo_mining and they call it Copperzilla-II with 210g of pure copper! solomining.de/en/products/co…

My God it’s beautiful. Let’s clear something up. I am not anti-Bitaxe. I own every single Bitaxe device that exists, have probably posted more Bitaxe-related content than nearly anyone on this planet, and love these tiny Bitcoin miners. What I am “anti” is acting like these devices are the end-all, be-all for home miners. These devices (and people who sell them) should get you into other forms of mining, not gatekeep you from it.

Lots of new manufacturers claiming “made in America” FYI if your board is not fabricated in USA, and all assembly/board smt/final assembly done here it’s not made in USA. It’s a Chinese asic, with a Chinese fabbed board, smt done in China, with a fan installed in the USA 😜

@kliA90_ @solo_mining @wantclue Definitely looks premium and I’m sure it will bring the asic temp down quite a bit. Rationale for pipes horizontal is to push heat away from power jack (which is a key thermal source in itself) as well as ESP. This thinking is taken from APX90 Installations on NerdQaxe++.

Mounted the Copperzilla today… And wow, this thing fits perfectly and looks absolutely insane!!! It’s basically a mini Thermalright AXP90… just genius. Can’t wait to see how it performs, but visually it’s already on a whole different level! Well done! Great job mate!!!
