@LanceTHESPOKEN It's a significant pay cut from years past and I think he's currently the 12th highest paid tight end. I don't know how much more friendly you want a deal to be?

Like I told you all along, Kelce wasn’t coming back to the Chiefs for a team friendly deal. $12 million with the potential to go to $15 million for a 37 year old TE is never something I would do. But the Chiefs are hellbent on keeping their offense intact. Even though 2025 went the way it went. So be it. Hoping for the best.

Chiefs are giving free-agent TE Travis Kelce a one-year, $12 million deal that has a max value of $15 million, per source.

Ravens have reworked the contract of Lamar Jackson, as @AKinkhabwala also reported. Sources say the restructure with Jackson creates about $40 million in salary cap space for the 2026 season. It’s similar to what Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen have done this offseason for their teams.

Just hope everyone truly understands that the Chiefs #1 receiving option is currently a 37 year old TE.

The #Chiefs are giving Travis Kelce $12M in 2026 with a chance to make $15M.

Back for more: #Chiefs future Hall of Fame TE Travis Kelce is expected to return to Kansas City for a 14th season, a message that’s been delivered to teams who will want him. At 36, Kelce’s play was at its usual level, landing him in the Pro Bowl. He’s loyal to KC & will stay.

@RapSheet All the casuals in the comments acting like Kelce wasn't still a top 5 tight end last year. You're holding him to his own standard and acting like he's washed at 36 for not ranking #1 lol.

@chiefsden @hbtCHIEFS This is the stuff I disagree with. People put love just in a box as “RB”. He is much more then that. Hes a playmaker that can be utilized at WR and RB etc. That is where its worth the money and high draft capital for Love. Tate, Tyson, Lemon, all have much higher chance for bust

@MaxEternalLife @hbtCHIEFS Yes that is the consensus opinion, however a running back in the top 10 spot would really need to have longevity to make it worth it for the position. Will the Chiefs re-sign him because he is a generational talent, or will his skill set not fully transferred to the NFL level?

@chiefsden @hbtCHIEFS Love is best player in the entire Draft and its not remotely close. He is not only RB # 1, he is WR # 1. Top priority should be getting Love. Remember Tyreek was a RB in college too, and Tyreek didn’t look near as good in college as Love. So reaching for these average WRs is dumb
