It feels eerie realizing that you’re kinda extremely consistent…? Starbucks staffs often offer me trying other type of drinks as a way to poke (I refuse to anyway); they’d anticipate the change in temperature of my drink order as a marker for real time seasonal change (it’s only officially summer when I swap the kid-warm to an iced), and nudging me to try local coffee shops.

I was too embarrassed so as soon as a new Muji store opened nearby, I switched destination. But the whole staff from the previous store got transferred to the newer one, and I got caught again. I felt low key like a creep.

I spend an absurd amount of time walking around a certain Muji store near my place every weekend for over 3 years, to the point some of the staffs came up to my ex and ask them what I do for a living and what kind of person I am.
