It’s definitely interesting watching this behind the scenes, seeing Dustin did not respond in this clip…after three or four responses. Was he shaken up? Absolutely. But Vince is as old school & legit as they come. I would trust his word more than anyone.

Noah Munck once stated Gibby’s stunt double broke his ribs during this fall on iCarly. Luckily, it’s not true. Dustin Courtney fell from 11.5 feet off the ground and suffered no broken bones, per stunt coordinator Vince Deadrick Jr.

And how about this McCoy clown cookie jar! I’m not currently seeing this exact one anywhere, but these types of jars also can go for $100-$200. Someone that yearned for owning one after seeing it on iCarly was able to find it!

A more recognizable one…is the Cookie Time clock that was also seen in the kitchen on Friends. Going for $200 currently on eBay.

Thread: obscure set pieces on iCarly. There’s some really cool & quirky items that are present but can be missed. First up, this New Haven Quartz ‘Friendly Drive-In’ retro clock! I own one! Bought on eBay. A retro local diner of mine has it in a slightly different version.

@RekSteppa Yes. Call times are staggered. Not everyone starts at the same time each day. Therefore, they had more time to work.

After “All I Want Is Everything” finishes, Jade & Andre bolt off stage. This wasn’t scripted. Liz & Leon were under 18 at the time & needed to be released from set due to child labor laws. Taking a look at the script, Robbie was given Jade’s line. Trina was given Andre’s.

And if you’re wondering why the other actors weren’t affected — well, Matt, Daniella & Avan were all over 18. Vic & Ariana likely had later call times & had plenty time left to work. Being an AD & figuring out scheduling on a show with mostly kids is a job I sure wouldn’t want.

Actors under 18 can only shoot X amount of hours per day. It’s taken seriously. If you’re an AD, I’ve heard you can lose your guild card for overworking a child actor on a set. As time was running out, the crew realized they had no choice but to revise the scene.

Behind the scenes of “Terror on Cupcake Street” For practical reasons, the interior of the cupcake was built on the soundstage. They didn’t actually film inside it…just in case you were wondering 🤣

@childhoodsource Did they actually ever use random people in the show? I thought it was only trained actors.

I put iCarly.com into the Wayback & viewed the earliest known webpage from July 2007, before it aired. Then viewed it the week iGoodbye aired. Nov 2012. Finally, the last screen capture. April 3rd, 2018. Nickelodeon closed the site a week after Dan was let go.

From what I gather, I think Dan & his personal web team had full control over iCarly & TheSlap .com & Nickelodeon made them hand over the websites & closed them down that next week. iCarly now redirects to Nick’s website.

Jennette McCurdy & Nathan Kress recreating the Fast Food Freestyle rap from 2007. They kept it going and added their own twist… “What you talkin’ bout Willis” 🤣

No. I own mostly mundane items. A mousepad from The Amanda Show for instance. A couple crew wrap gifts that are either sweatshirts, jackets, or shirts. Maybe a hat. Most of my collection is scripts.

@xmaggiepiazzax Usually it’s a matter of an actor being wrong for the role after getting on set and producers seeing a rehearsal/run-through with the cast. Or just not being what they hoped for. Something similar happened with Crazy Steve. That actor was let go & Jerry Trainor was found.

Jillian Clare, who played Haley — the antagonist in Freak the Freak Out — screen tested for the role of Jade against Liz Gillies in 2009. She landed this role after the original actress who got cast as Haley was fired.
