Just a random not-so-fun fact, 75% of the women who are killed in domestic violence related homicides are killed AFTER they have left an abusive relationship. The risk of being killed increases 7x AFTER the woman leaves. “Why don’t you just leave?” It’s not that simple!

You are absolutely right. I feel very deeply about it, because it affects me personally. My brother was addicted to online sports betting. It has such a chokehold on him that he eventually ended his life because of it. The relentless predatory advertising has to have limits.

I knew someone would say this. Meanwhile, ALL my family and friends completely understood why I kept it from them. Because my last pregnancy nearly killed me and sent me into organ failure. I simply didn’t want my loved ones panicking for 9 months when they’re 3000 miles away.
