A clear trend is emerging: crypto exchanges are rapidly expanding their boundaries — from stocks and indices to commodities. The reason is simple: Users no longer want just crypto exposure. What they really want is a “super account” where capital can move freely across different markets. Once capital starts flowing within a single platform, liquidity doesn’t just increase — it compounds and amplifies around participation.

9 Most Overlooked FREE User Acquisition Channels for Web3 Projects Most Web3 teams start global growth with: → KOLs → Ads → Airdrops But the truth is: - The first real users don’t come from budget - They come from organic channels It’s not that projects lack money It’s that they don’t know how to use these channels Here are 9 that actually work: 1. Twitter (X) The core battlefield of Web3. Most projects just post announcements. That doesn’t work. What works: → Reply marketing → Threads with strong opinions → Spaces for interaction 👉 Don’t broadcast. Join conversations. 2. Reddit Highly rational users. Extremely anti-ads. If you promote directly, you’ll get ignored or banned. What works: → Frame content as discussions → Use a 3rd-person perspective → Share real experiences 3. Discord / Telegram Not customer support. 👉 This is your conversion layer. It’s not about size. It’s about: → Activity → Topics → Community vibe Users don’t join. They stay. 4. GitHub Critical for dev-focused projects. → Open source → Bounties → Contributions 👉 Turn developers into distribution nodes. 5. YouTube Underrated search engine. → Tutorials → Reviews → Walkthroughs 👉 Long-tail traffic = consistent users. 6. TikTok Fastest way to break out. → Short videos → Simple ideas → Clear narratives 👉 Great for education & awareness. 7. Medium / Mirror Long-form content layer. → Build trust → Improve SEO → Create depth 8. Quora Highly underrated. → Answer questions → Capture intent-driven users → Long-term traffic 9. Product Hunt Perfect for product launches. → Get early users → Gain visibility → Attract builders & investors What actually works: - Content - Community - Interaction - Conversion flow If you’re doing global growth and it’s not working, it’s usually not the channel It’s the strategy.

Institutions buying the dip? - Geopolitics spike: Middle East strikes boosted safe-havens (gold/oil); BTC/ETH tanked briefly before rebounding. - Crypto Reserve Buzz: Rumors of a US strategic reserve (BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP) sparked late-week surge hopes. - Unlock pressure: $500M+ in DeFi/RWA token unlocks added short-term sell pressure. - Stablecoins & Regs: Treasury-backed stablecoins grew, and the SEC dropped probes, hinting at a lighter touch. - Market blues linger: Total cap down ~2% in a tough Feb stretch, but ETF inflows & policy hints keep long-term bulls hopeful.

😄X Is Tightening Rules on Crypto and AI Content Recently, X (formerly Twitter) rolled out multiple policy updates targeting crypto and AI-related content. These changes have significant impact on KOLs, project teams, and affiliate-based promotion models. Here are the key updates👇: 🔥January 15, 2026 X updated its API policy and officially banned apps that pay users to post content, especially in crypto, AI, and InfoFi sectors. At the same time, new measures were introduced to combat low-quality “AI-slop” content and reply farming. In simple terms, mass automated posting and low-value AI-generated content are now under heavy scrutiny. 🔥February 12–24, 2026 X activated “human behavior detection.” Accounts without real human actions (taps, scrolling, interaction) may face suspension. Even experimental automation without human involvement can result in a ban. The era of automated matrix accounts is ending. 🔥February 19–22, 2026 X updated its Paid Partnerships Policy. Undisclosed paid partnerships are now fully banned in the following categories: - Lotteries - Social casinos - Sports betting - Gambling - Prediction markets This creates major impact for KOLs, clipping accounts, and stealth affiliate promotions. 🔥February 23, 2026 Kalshi removed affiliate badges, citing enforcement complexity. Polymarket badges remain in place for now. On the same day, X restricted programmatic replies via API. Bots can now only reply if they are directly mentioned or quoted. Core signal behind these changes: - Crackdown on incentive-driven spam - Crackdown on undisclosed affiliate promotions - Crackdown on bot networks - Stronger emphasis on real human engagement For crypto marketing, this is a structural shift. Going forward, the direction is clear: - Higher quality content - Transparent paid disclosures - Real engagement - Compliance-aware campaign structures Short term, some accounts will disappear. Long term, the ecosystem becomes cleaner. For project teams, marketing strategy must evolve. If you still rely on bot matrices, volume farming, or hidden affiliate structures, the risks are increasing. Real opportunities emerge after rule resets.

Chill Labs|2026: Redefining Global Web3 User Acquisition Chill Labs was founded with a simple mission: not to create short-term hype, but to help Web3 projects achieve sustainable, real-world user growth. Over the past year, we have worked across Asia, LATAM, CIS, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, partnering with thousands of KOLs, creators, and communities to build localized growth channels for exchanges, wallets, stablecoins, PayFi, RWA, and infrastructure projects. 💿 2025|What We Delivered In 2025, Chill Labs: Supported and served 80+ Web3 projects Covered 30+ countries and regional markets Connected 2,000+ local KOLs and creators Generated millions of real user touchpoints and sign-ups for our partners Over 80% of our projects came from referrals, and many grew from cold start to scale. Several went on to receive support from top exchanges and institutions after launch. These results were not driven by spending more on ads —they were built on local trust networks and execution systems. 🏄‍♀️ What is changing in the market? In 2025, we saw a clear shift:Web3 marketing is moving from exposure and noise to user quality, retention, and lifetime value. Founders are no longer asking:“How much traffic did we buy?” They are asking: “Will these users stay?” “Will they actually use the product?” This marks a transition toward a more mature and commercially real Web3 industry. 2026|Global growth becomes infrastructure At Chill Labs, we believe the winners of 2026 will not be the loudest teams, but the ones who truly understand market structure and user behavior. True global growth does not live only on English X. It is built through: - Local-language content - Trusted local KOLs - Community relationships - Local payment and on-off-ramps We will continue expanding Chill Labs’ global growth network — connecting creators, communities, and data into a compounding user system. 🌱 Great growth is never explosive — it compounds. In 2026, we look forward to bringing Web3 to real-world users together with more visionary teams.

Web3 growth isn’t just about tech — it’s about language. Most projects lose 50–80% of potential users simply because their content stays in English. Local-language content = lower friction, higher trust, faster adoption. Look at Vietnam, Brazil, Turkey, MENA… Once tutorials, memes, and KOL reviews go native, activation rates and conversion curves immediately lift. If you want global users, speak their language. Localization isn’t a marketing tactic — it’s a growth multiplier. @chilllabs/over-the-past-few-years-weve-worked-with-more-than-300-web3-projects-across-exchanges-wallets-9e92b910b8f0?postPublishedType=initial" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">medium.com/@chilllabs/ove…

@chilllabs/%E6%9C%AC%E5%9C%B0%E8%AF%AD%E8%A8%80-%E5%86%B3%E5%AE%9A-web3-%E5%85%A8%E7%90%83%E5%A2%9E%E9%95%BF%E6%95%88%E7%8E%87%E7%9A%84%E5%85%B3%E9%94%AE%E5%8F%98%E9%87%8F-9f7e69e6fad0" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">medium.com/@chilllabs/%E6…

From Zero to Global: Why Every Web3 Project Is Recruiting Overseas Ambassadors In the Web3 world, overseas ambassadors are like the front-line soldiers of a project’s global expansion. They are not only the brand’s representatives in international markets but also key bridges connecting global users and driving community growth. For Chinese projects aiming to expand their global presence, ambassadors often determine whether a project can truly go global. Over the past few years, Chill Labs has served more than 300 Web3 projects across different sectors — many starting from zero and seeking to quickly enter overseas markets. We found that many projects faced similar challenges at the beginning: they produced content, built accounts, and ran ads, yet overseas users merely “watched without engaging.” Once we introduced the “Overseas Ambassador” model, the situation changed rapidly. An overseas ambassador is an individual authorized by the project to represent its brand in a specific country or region. They understand the local market and crypto ecosystem, and can communicate the project’s vision in a culturally resonant way. In the Web3 space, ambassadors are not just promoters but connectors — they translate the brand’s story into local language and context, allowing the project to integrate naturally into the local crypto scene. Take a recent stablecoin project as an example: after launching its “Global Ambassador Program,” within just two weeks, we helped the team build independent communities in Vietnam, Turkey, and Nigeria through our ambassador network. Local ambassadors organized AMAs, airdrop events, and educational content, growing the Telegram group from 3,000 to 5,000 members — nearly doubling engagement. More importantly, over 40% of these new users participated in actual trading or product testing. For Web3 projects, recruiting overseas ambassadors means much more than marketing — it’s about building bridges to new markets. Ambassadors help break through cultural and linguistic barriers, making the brand easier for local users to understand and trust. Outstanding ambassadors are often KOLs or community leaders themselves, capable of organizing activities, driving engagement, and nurturing authentic user communities. For instance, during a growth campaign we executed for a crypto payment card project (U Card), ambassadors created local short videos, crafted tweet scripts, produced tutorials, and personally invited friends to try the card. Within one month, the project gained over 5,000 new registered users, achieving a successful cold start in the Southeast Asian market. Ambassadors also provide first-hand market feedback. In one GameFi campaign, we discovered through our ambassador network that Indonesian and Filipino players had different interests. This insight helped the team adjust task mechanics in the next update, improving retention by 30%. These data points prove that ambassadors are not only communicators but also “intelligence scouts” who inform strategic decisions. From a branding perspective, the personal credibility and influence of ambassadors can significantly enhance a project’s trustworthiness. For new brands entering unfamiliar markets, trust is more valuable than exposure. When users see a “local influencer” recommending a project, trust forms much faster than through traditional ads. In practice, ambassadors take on diverse responsibilities — event planning, community management, market feedback, crisis response, and brand maintenance. They also create and distribute platform-specific content, such as Twitter threads, YouTube reviews, and Telegram AMAs. Through this layered collaboration, projects can quickly achieve both “brand awareness” and “user growth.” To find the right ambassadors, project teams must first identify their target markets and understand local culture, regulations, and user behavior. Then, they should define clear roles and responsibilities to ensure concrete and actionable goals. Social media platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Discord, and Telegram are excellent channels for discovering ambassadors. Projects should evaluate candidates’ influence, expertise, language skills, and enthusiasm, and provide necessary training and resources to ensure they truly understand the brand’s mission. Incentives such as token rewards, revenue sharing, or exclusive ambassador titles can further boost motivation. Establishing regular communication and evaluation systems is key to maintaining a stable and efficient program. In summary, recruiting overseas ambassadors is a critical step for Web3 projects pursuing global expansion. Ambassadors not only amplify brand awareness but also drive sustainable growth across communities, content, and consensus. With proper selection, management, and incentive systems, projects can build a trustworthy and effective global ambassador network — achieving a true leap from “exposure” to “expansion.” If you’re not sure where to start, Chill Labs can help you take the first step. We offer ambassador recruitment services that efficiently connect you with top global talent, helping your project move from cold start to scalable growth — and truly go global.
