@goonyizhou Doesn't this not prove the whole point about valko a bit? I honestly think they should scale back and be a bit reasonable. It's be OK to have Valkos release postponed and have him properly implemented, without "stealing" other LIs thunder.

@lunarvaelle His character seemed quite Gary Sue-y too. A rewrite of him would work wonders not even a lot of rewriting, just adjustments where he is unique and doesn't take away the special parts of other LIs. But that's my opinion and idk if Infold would do that after all that's gone on.

@lunarvaelle It's sad to see the whole comunity eat itself up over this, while they already habe complained about missing content in the past. Valko would have caused more delay, imo Infold should have caught up on content for Sylus and Caleb and then released Valko.

@Magix_xlol @coupzayne A dev cycle usually isn't that long. Gacha games do plan ahead, but that's usually around 2-4 months. As far as I have seen, Valko has had no mention in the MS unlike Sylus and Caleb. Infold being ok with scrapping him this quickly does not fill me with "this took 2 yrs".

@coupzayne Sorry but i am not going to do this. This feels like it will just lower the impact, When CN has done it multiple times it wasn't an issue but if global does it it is? That feels off. This has been the way for players to get their voice heard with any game

@wiftyNA @itsjadealy Honestly, I don't know. It is a fact that things are usually thought out MONTHS ago for gachas. BUT, them scrapping him this easily is a huge red flag to me.

@chipi20000 @itsjadealy removing valko doesnt mean they now get more content. it'll probably take LONGER now because valko's story was supposed to progress the aethercore story and now they have to scrap it.

About Valko’s cancellation: As a day-one player and Sylus main I’ve witnessed most (if not all) highs and lows of Love and Deepspace, but this situation broke my trust on another level I won’t be spending more in-game after my monthly pass runs out. Not spending feels like the most effective feedback to me

@havensnowcrow Why did you start playing the game? To first complain about missing content and then end up cursing it when they actually attempt to rectify it? Cancelling him completely is crazy, but I still think they should have first cought up on Clb's and Syls' content before release of Vlk

It's very selfish to me because several ppl just lost there jobs from the vas to the cosplayers you ppl are so parasocial it's insane sylus and calebs content wont be good and nothing else will either

@Kurootic @Love_Deepspace Completely removing Valko is insane, but I do agree on maybe rereleasing him later on once the missing content is up to date. And majorly reworking his character, to me it seemed like he copied way too much and was like a Gary Sue outshining every LI in their specifics.

The problem was the lack of Dias to farm for f2p and low spender and missing content from Sylus & Caleb! Plus the long main story update waiting time!! All other in-game systems and features originally scheduled for Version 6.0—including Home 2.0 and AR Photobooth—as well as the limited-time Selectable 5-Star Memory Rate-Up Event, will proceed as planned. The outfits, photo poses and scenes, and the Nighthush Box (the second-anniversary 4-Star Memory Selection Crate) originally planned as rewards for the Hunt in Linkon event will instead be sent to all players for free via in-game mail after the version update. 3. Going forward, the entire team will focus on further developing the stories and long-term companionship experiences of our five existing love interests, while ensuring a stable pace of Main Story production and updates. Rafayel's new Solar-Slot Memories and Companion will be revealed in July. Farspace Colonel Caleb and Onychinus Leader Sylus will also return in their Main Story branches in September and November, respectively.
