@Hippo_Drones There are just so many good bikes these days! We are spoilt for choice but the price of some of them is absurd! If money was no object i’d have the new GSXR1000 thats about to come out! £17,500 i believe 😳 Can thoroughly recommend the GSXS1000 as a solid reliable machine tho!👍

@chipie303 Ta for the info. Took one for a spin a couple of years back but ended up getting the GSX-8S as it suited better back then. Am contemplating getting a 1000 but not sure which one currently

@Dalesrider1 @Hippo_Drones I’d say thats fair, do feel that the initial acceleration 0-60 is pretty much on par with both the 600 + 1000gsxr when properly pinned! I regularly go out with a mate on a R1 + it matches it out the corners! Tails off a bit at high speeds + lack of a screen is a disadvantage 🤣👍

@Hippo_Drones I also had the very first GSXS1000 brand new in 2015 + that was a great bike but can definitely say that this model is far superior mainly due to smoother fuelling + addition of a quickshifter/blipper + also much more modern styling! Similar power performance 👍

@Hippo_Drones Its the 1000! I find the power delivery fantastic all through the rev range! The quickshifter is buttery smooth up + down! Its comfortable! Throttle reaponse is instant but not jerky! My last 2 bikes were GSXR600 K5 + then GSXR1000 L6 + performance is sort of in between them👍👍

Up early for hospital: lidocaine infusion, one part of my chronic pain plan after kidney cancer. Cancer’s gone, but the legacy is excruciating pain. You feel the warmth/pressure as it hits. Monitors on, tea in hand, staying awake (these infusions are serious). Home in a few hours
