@PastorKozeny @jc1metwo @ScottAniol @chipleymac That's an entirely different question. I was asking about the scripture. To say 1 Timothy 2:1-2 justifies supporting abortion, gay marriage, unjust wars, etc. is borderline laughable. Isaiah 5:20 and Isaiah 10:1-2 are very relevant here.

Just shared with me from @chipleymac regarding whether Christians should still vote Trump, despite the disappointing platform/convention: "I am for a national abortion ban & IVF elimination. Both are fundamental civil rights issues. Yet, single issue voters also should consider a broader gospel perspective. A mission agency founder told me that, under Trump’s admin, his missionaries walked the earth, relatively freely, in 80+ countries. The gospel flowed with less obstacles because Trump’s openly pro-Christian stances kept pagan countries in check. They simply didn’t know what he would do. Christians had unprecedented global protections, moreso than in any Presidential admin before or since. THE DAY AFTER Biden’s inauguration, the systematic martyr of Christian missionaries began. Tens of millions of our Christian brothers & sisters, worldwide, benefit from a pro-Christian policy strongman as Commander in Chief—(whether he, himself, is a Christian or not). We can (& must) express our disappointment over recent abortion shifts. Yet, we must remember the unprecedented protections Trump offers tens of millions of Christian saints worldwide—& the opportunity for more free-flowing gospel advancement, as pagan leaders are unsure how Trump will respond to their lusts for Christian blood."
