it breaks my heart to think about jaeho's situation in"The Merciless". I mean after watching the movie we all know that Jaeho doesn't trust anyone in the world except Hyunsoo, I saw the story behind the photo of Cheon with Jaeho as something symbolic, suggesting they might have..

Only Hyunsoo truly loves and empathizes with everything about Jaeho. He even let Jaeho shoot him, and even knowing that, he still chose to kill Jaeho in the gentlest way possible, unlike how he killed Cheon.

and in the final scene, Cheon actually stabbed Jaeho and frantically searched for evidence of his crime without paying any attention to him at all:)). Honestly, if they ever had feelings for each other, then her love for him feels so fake, And the only person in this world who..

they have feelings for each other from the past, and like Hyunsoo, Cheon used to work as undercover police officers investigating Jaeho but in the end, she betrayed him
