my take on this is i hate the fact they went out of their way to sanitize anything in general. i know they have nothing but good intentions but wiping the original cut of season 1 off the internet just feels like a performative lack of accountability to me :/

Not trying to call ppl out or anything but it's strange that they're hellbent on removing all the fart jokes but when it comes to the ableist stereotype that's been criticized for a decade by fans and the crew themselves its just here to stay maybe it'll be changed in future but

@chixxzombie they did not wipe it from the internet man 😭😭 there are still full reuploads of it online + youtube reuploads of various clips. they removed a few poorly aged jokes and some slurs which would've been a terrible influence on younger viewers

@charliesdomain yes! they only seem to care about covering up their past while also continuing to be offensive and insensitive. it feels like they only act the way they do because theyre scared of their fanbase. nothing feels natural

@chixxzombie Performative is like the perfect word choice for it, it's never really felt like they cared about accessibility and are more focused on just replacing the original season one since they find it embarrassing and shameful

people in the OSC are waaay too comfortable harassing each other. i feel there's never a day where i don't see something negative on my timeline about another person in the fandom. i get that most of y'all children, but that doesn't excuse this behavior at all.

animationepic tries WAY too hard to keep their reputation clean but insensitive and weird shit always ends up slipping through the cracks anyway so who cares? acknowledging ur history is the least u could do imo. but thas just my 2 cents
