UPDATE: One of the Amotekun personnel (Paul), who got injured during the rescue attempt of the kidnapped victims in Oriire LGA,Oyo State, which the criminals used a dynamite made explosive to thwart the attempt. Just to know that he and many others do not have appointment letters, confirmation letters, valid HMO, Pension scheme, and other important things a civil servant gets as a staff of the govt.

Need Obidients to be aware that Makinde in the race is a Tinubu pawn. The idea is that they know the southwest is a mostly deeply tribalistic region, and those who didn't vote Tinubu the last time was because they considered him too despicable to get behind. Makinde's role is to give such voters an out, and by so doing, move those SW votes that were for PO in 2023 to Makinde next year

@DonCrucifixio4 @ConstantPolaris Gatherings on the centre of the road that disrupt socio-economic activities. Gatherings where stoned youths march along the road wielding machetes and other deadly weapons. You want the dead to rest in peace, while you inflict chaos. Pls rest.

Can someone please hand professor Charles Soludo a copy of the Nigerian constitution. Because I don't understand if he and his assembly think he is the king of Sparta or Adolf Hitler. Who told him he has the power to trample on the fundamental rights of people? Who told him he has the powers to tell people when to bury their loved ones and what gifts to give and take for funerals? Or is the Nigerian constitution not supreme anymore? If a state law contradicts the constitution, the constitution prevails and the law becomes void to the extent of the inconsistency. How is this a democracy?

@evidencebyme @ConstantPolaris You love it when people arbitrarily block the road in the name of burial and disrupt socio-economic activities. We'll, a governor can resolve to maintain law and order at all times.

This is exactly how consent manufacturing works. I told you that this Pastor wasn’t the one handling his social outings. He might have started with good intent, but he was co-opted at some point by the American evangelical groups who were tasked alongside their Nigerian collaborators with manufacturing consent for Trump to lunch military action in Nigeria. Posting this on his Truth Social is Trump telling the American audience who are growing frustrated at his military adventures (especially the disaster in Iran) that “look o, Nigerians were the ones that invited me.” This is exactly what we mean by you being complicit in handing Donald Trump consent for his military ambitions in your country. It’s already late. Military base achieved. Tinubu second term secured. You, what have you gained? Nothing. The insecurity is still flourishing. Next time, you will have sense.

Deji has started doing the same works he did for Tinubu in 2023. He tells Nigerians everyday that Tinubu cannot be defeated. He condemn all opposition figures and parties daily. He gives reasons why Tinubu will win. Deji does this to create voter apathy. It's a campaign for Tinubu disguised as some care for Nigeria. Don't fall for it. Tinubu will be defeated by a landslide and Nigeria will be OK.

@DHQNigeria This explanation is not enough. If the same terrorist that was reportedly killed in 2024 is the same one that Trump announced his killing yesterday, then the reasons for the earlier announcement should be clearly explained and detailed.

CLARIFICATION ON RECENT REPORTS REGARDING THE NEUTRALISATION OF TERRORIST COMMANDER ABU-BILAL AL-MINUKI The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) wishes to provide clarification following emerging public discourse regarding the recent neutralisation of a high-profile terrorist commander, Abu-Bilal Al-Minuki, during a joint operation with the United States Africa Command on 16 May, 2026. Certain media reports referencing a similar operation in 2024 have mentioned the elimination of a terrorist commander bearing the same name. This has understandably generated questions about the identity of the individual recently neutralised. It is important to state that within the North East region and across the Lake Chad Basin, the use of similar or identical names, aliases and nom de guerres is common among ISWAP and Boko Haram terrorists. This is essentially part of their indoctrination program which is aimed at deliberately obscuring identities. This fact has been established over the years in the course of counter terrorism operations in the Northeast of Nigeria. The Abu-Bilal Al-Minuki eliminated on 16 May, 2026 has been positively identified through human intelligence and technical surveillance as a senior global operative within the Islamic State network, with direct links to international terrorist coordination, funding and operations across the Sahel. There is therefore no ambiguity in his identity. The strike is a significant milestone in our counter-terrorism efforts. The Armed Forces of Nigeria, in partnership with the United States, remain committed to dismantling terrorist networks and will continue to provide verified information through official channels. The general public and the media are please urged to rely only on these sources to avoid confusion from coincidental name similarities. @masurge7 It was Amaechi who led the charge against Jonathan in a classical see finish mode as a fellow Niger Deltan. It was the same Amaechi who opposed the savings initiated by Okonjo-Iweala. His infamous role weighs strongly against him. Even if he gets ADC ticket, he'll lose Rivers.

The decision by Aminu Waziri Tambuwal to withdraw from the 2027 Sokoto South senatorial race and pave the way for Amb. Hon. Faruku Malami Yabo, MFR, to succeed him is highly commendable. Leaders should know when to quit the stage while the ovation is still loudest. I deeply respect Tambuwal for this rare display of selflessness, a quality lacking in most leaders today. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

@igloryempire2 Simple matter. Your husband has been trading with 50 bags and f cement for months. Let's assume it was a loan. Won't he repay it. He would have politely asked the customer to support him with security money. Men do understand.

A man came to my husbands shop and paid for 50 Bags of Cement at ₦11,000 Per Bag by January, he said he will carry the cement in two days time but unfortunately he did not come to carry it. My husband kept calling his phone number and it was not going through. 3 days ago making it 4 months he came to my husbands shop to carry the cement and claimed that he travelled out of the country.Returns Four Months Later being 3 days ago to Collect Them, But Seller ( My husband Refuses to Release the Goods) He made full payment in January and informed my husband that he would return in the next two days to collect the bags. However, he did not show up until four months later. According to my husband the seller, after waiting for several weeks without hearing from the customer several times he called and his line was not going through and the price of cement currently have increased significantly in the market. When the man finally returned after four months being 3 days ago to carry his cement, the seller my husband refused to release the bags. He explained that the current price had risen to ₦13,000 per bag and demanded an additional ₦100,000 before the man could take the cement. The man was shocked and sad. He insisted that he had already paid in full and was not going to add any extra money. "I paid you completely four months ago," he argued. "I have my receipt . You cannot change the terms now just because the market price has gone up."The seller my husband remained insisting he must pay the balance. Yesterday the buyer came with police and arrested Ngonadi Kingsley Ufomadu . In your own view who is at fault?

Peter Obi is looking to harvest where he didn't sow. Tinubu did the heavy lifting, the strenuous restructuring, and the necessary clearing to stabilize our foundation. Now that the reforms are starting to yield fruit, it’s time for the country to actually enjoy the growth we’ve worked for. 🇳🇬 ✊

@africaceoforum Tinubu is being over laboured by selfish individuals. He should be at home enjoying the wealth he has accumulated over the years. Mandela, against expectations chose to serve for a single term. Knowing when to quit when the ovation is loudest is not really easy.

Africa CEO Forum@africaceoforum·
🌍 "Why don't you start one?" In four words, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu turned a moderator's question into a continental challenge from the main stage of the Africa CEO Forum Annual Summit in Kigali. 🛒 The question on the table was simple. Why does Africa, with all its commodity wealth spread asymmetrically across borders, still lack a continental exchange platform where producers and buyers can trade with one another rather than routing every transaction through external markets? Tinubu's answer turned the question back on the room. The continent's two largest economies, Nigeria and South Africa, have the scale, the volumes, the capital markets infrastructure and the political weight to launch precisely that platform. The case for waiting is increasingly difficult to defend. 📊 The numbers behind the provocation matter. Nigeria's non-oil exports to African markets grew 38% year-on-year in 2024. Intra-African trade is projected to climb from 15% in 2023 to 25% by 2030 under the AfCFTA framework. Cargo clearance times at major Nigerian seaports have already dropped by roughly 30% since 2023. The architecture for deeper intra-continental trade is being built piece by piece, but a continental commodity exchange would mark a qualitative leap, moving Africa from price-taker to price-setter on its own resources. 🤝 The deeper message is one of leadership by example. For years, the integration debate has been carried by communiqués and frameworks. Tinubu's challenge cuts through that. The two giants of the continent should stop debating who should move first and instead move together. That is what pan-African capitalism looks like when it stops being a slogan, African producers trading African commodities on African platforms, settled in African currencies. 🇷🇼 The question Kigali is putting on the agenda this week is no longer whether the AfCFTA will be implemented. It is who will dare to build its missing institutions. #ACF2026 #AfricaCEOForum

Peter Obi was moving ahead of time. Obi realized that a GEJ candidacy would affect his votes in the South. He first visited GEJ, established an agreement and confirmed that GEJ is not contesting. This cleared his way, with SE/SS bloc votes in tact. Atiku had only one job. Win Makinde over and make him a VP. He still failed woefully. 😂
