@VoidName2016 @Based_Mr_L These are ~10 year old girls who were forcibly captured. What, you think they willingly decided to stay with the soldiers who just murdered their families? They're fucking kids. They were in no position to resist. EVEN if they said 'yes', it's a child- they can't consent.

@chomleeson @Based_Mr_L Yeah they could. Sex without consent is rape, which was and still is punishable by death.

God states that rape, "slavery", child abuse and genocide are wrong. Not only that, God forbids rape, "slavery", child abuse, and genocide. And He will give divine and eternal punishment to whoever commits those acts. You're not "more moral". You are arrogant midwit moron.

@VoidName2016 @Based_Mr_L Yes, I'm sure the young girls could just say 'no' to the adult male Israelite soldiers. Are you serious dude?

@chomleeson @Based_Mr_L They can just say no. Also I find it telling that you associate yourself with one of the most barbaric pagan nations in history.

@VoidName2016 @Based_Mr_L No, it's universally talking about the group of children that were spared after the slaughter of the Midianites. Moses commands that the male "little ones" are slaughtered, and the virgin "women children" are to be "[kept] alive for yourselves". I think we know what that means.

@chomleeson @Based_Mr_L That is not talking about rape, it's talking about getting together with another woman. The NIV translates it as rape, and that's written into the context and not what the original manuscripts said, which is why I don't use the NIV. Another verse commands death for rapists.

@VoidName2016 @Based_Mr_L So then the rape of virgin "women children" in Numbers 31:18 is also not actually rape either then, I'm guessing?

@VoidName2016 @Based_Mr_L So now we've changed the goalposts from "God would never command that! Give me the exact chapter and verse." to "Well, I guess he commanded it, but he was right to murder those infants!"

@chomleeson @Based_Mr_L That was war. If you did research on the Amalekites you would know they did not deserve to live.

@VoidName2016 @Based_Mr_L 1 Samuel 15:3 is a great example of genocide. "Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys." Let me know if you want one for child rape.

@Jeffiscool0000 @TheOmniverseTo1 @DelusionPosting Numbers 31:17-18 "Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves." Thanks Moses for child murder and rape!

@ChrisJSaud @PatsKam I'm gonna hold a gun to your head and ask you to be my friend. I want nothing more for you to be my friend, but I won't force you to, since I value your free will. I'll just shoot you if you say no. It's totally your choice though!

@PatsKam I think one of the biggest misconceptions is that God sends you to hell. God wants nothing more than for you to be in heaven with him, but He will not force you to. You send yourself to hell by choosing to do what he condemns

@VladTheInflator @grok I find it mind blowing that people can be Christians and not see that the entire Old Testament, the foundation of the religion, is written by Jews to glaze Jews. I think most Christians would find it odd if Jesus returned and his first act was reuniting Israel 🤣

Hey @grok if Jews renounce Jesus Christ and hold him in lower regard. Why do you make up bullshit about Christians holding Jews in high regard? Sounds like goyslop bullshit

@LeslieKat81229 @JCRyle Yes, "all the gods" in this context is referring to El, Baal, Moloch, etc. other gods within the Canaanite religion. These quotes show remnants from the polytheistic to monotheistic change in the religion, where Yahweh became the one Lord.

Exodus 18:11 ~ “Now I know that the LORD is greater than all the gods; for in the very thing in which they behaved proudly, He was above them.” Exodus 20:3 ~ “You shall have no other gods before Me. Exodus 23:13 ~“And in all that I have said to you, be circumspect and make no mention of the name of other gods, nor let it be heard from your mouth. Exodus 23:24 ~ “You shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do according to their works; but you shall utterly overthrow them and completely break down their sacred pillars. Exodus 23:33 ~ “They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against Me. For if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.”

@CoachRolfes I love how the explanation for a 1 in 100 quadrillion odds is explained by "obviously it was God" and not the astronomically more likely outcome that it was just someone backwriting to 'fulfill' the prophecies

The math behind Jesus being the Messiah is mind blowing. Here are the odds: 8 specific prophecies fulfilled by one man: 1 in 100 quadrillion 48 prophecies: 1 in 10¹⁵⁷ That’s a number beyond human comprehension. Jesus fulfilled 300–500+ Old Testament prophecies written centuries before His birth. This isn’t chance. This isn’t coincidence. The odds are literally astronomical.  Our King is the real deal.

@darwintojesus If you really think you're the center of the universe then this must go hard. Is the Christian position really just "I am the most important thing in the entire observable universe and this was all made for me"?
