🚨 THIS IS WHAT LANDSCAPERS REALLY DO AT 7AM — RIGHT WHEN THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS DEAD SILENT The whole block is dead quiet. Not a single sound. Then… that first pull. And the engine rips straight through the silence. • 7:00AM on the dot • Everyone still asleep • Windows shut… doesn’t matter • That echo hits every house You can literally feel the peace disappear in seconds. Some say it’s just a job getting done. Others say it’s the most hated sound in any neighborhood. Is this normal morning work... or the rudest wake-up call there is?

Nine offensive linemen went in the first round. Seven OTs and 2 OGs. Dolphins clearly saw the run coming and got ahead of it. They drafted two premium positions in the first round, taking two players they liked. Say whatever you want about the players and their warts, but I like the conviction. My issue is….I have no idea if Sullivan can evaluate talent or not. Or if Hafley can coach players up. We shall see.

@KevHarlanEffect This is by far the most accurate and reasonable take regarding the first pick. Like you said. JES first option fell off the board what do you do you trade back pick up two picks and still land a needed position. I hope this pick balls out #PHINSUP

I know many don’t wanna hear it and this is going to piss a lot of people off, but I want to try to highlight the positives and reasoning for Kadyn Proctor. ⤵️ I’ll start by saying that my immediate reaction was not great. I thought we had our choice between Downs and Bain, and I believed leaving the draft with one of them was a 100% guarantee. Like many of you, I am not a football “expert” by any means, so I’m not going to try to pretend I know more than people who get paid a lot of money to know the game. I simply watch and love the sport. Here we go: ▫️This year’s draft was truly all over the place. Positional rankings, mocks, nobody was consistent. The only thing that was consistent was Fernando Mendoza. Go look at some top mocks and see how many picks were correct. It’s staggering. Try not to judge the pick based on where your favorite draft analyst had Proctor going in the first round. For all we know, he could be the best OL in this draft. He may also not be. Only time will tell. ▫️For years we’ve been rightfully bitching about our offensive line. We’ve never been healthy there, we’ve never had consistent play. Proctor should help us build a real wall from day one. ▫️There was a huge run on OL in the teens and early twenties. Some of the guys that many thought were going to be available at 30 didn’t even make it that far. If Sullivan wanted to target this position, 11-12 was the time, and the Dolphins obviously think they got the best player out of that group. ▫️I can’t say for sure that Mauigoa was Sully’s initial target, but if he was, he was smart to trade down one spot and pick up two additional fifths and still walk away with one of his guys. ▫️Kadyn Proctor is a massive 6’7, 350+ lb man. “Fast gets slow but big don’t get small.” Size is extremely important to our GM. ▫️JES also believes that Proctor can play both tackle spots and both guard spots. This will allow us to plug Jonah back at his original spot on the right side, and Paul/Proctor can completely lock down Malik’s blind side. Versatility was another box that Sullivan needed to check. Someone like Vega Ioane does not provide versatility, as good as he may be at the next level. ▫️Kadyn Proctor is only 20 years old. Plenty of room for growth, development, and maturing. Not to say that he’s “raw”, because he isn’t. He’s been extremely productive at Alabama in three years. One of the highest graded linemen in the country. ▫️He is also an absolute mauler in the run game, per many scouts. He can get downfield quickly and explode into second-level blocks, much like Aaron Brewer. Very impressive for his size. ▫️Bama lined him up at receiver. They also lined him up in the backfield. Rare athlete. At the end of the day, the Dolphins front office spent a ton of time with this kid and they fell in love with him. They’re trying to build this team from the inside out and they covet physical traits. Proctor checks all the boxes for Sully and Haf and the foundation they’re trying to lay. Again, my intention is not to tell people they’re wrong for feeling how they feel. I just wanted to try to provide some positivity and rationale for a player who could very well end up being a cornerstone piece for this football team. I know this was a surprise selection, but let’s give this kid, and this front office, a chance to put in the work and show us what they can actually do on the football field. I am choosing to trust this process, and I think you should too. #PhinsUp

Dolphins fans gotta be the most uneducated fanbase. Might not be the sexy pick, but it’s the smart one. Kadyn Proctor is an elite athlete for his size with a rock solid anchor. Still raw, but the potential is serious. I’m rocking with it. #PhinsUp

@BlizzyFins Is this your professional opinion for all the years you have spent as a GM in the NFL?? Maybe stick to your day job, perfect reason why you are not in any meaningful position with an NFL team.

I like Chris Johnson, my 3rd favorite CB in the draft With that said, I find it hard to believe we needed to trade up 3 spots for him… Sully seems lost man. Just like Grier, his board seems so different than anyone else’s.

🗳 Jon-Eric Sullivan's first first-round draft as Miami Dolphins GM: ➖ Trade down from #11 to #12 ➖ Select OT Kadyn Proctor (Alabama) ➖ Trade up from #30 to #27 ➖ Select CB Chris Johnson (San Diego State) Thoughts? #PhinsUp

@BurghFinsFan3 This right here!! For real I hate this fanbase. You miss your pick, drop one spot. Pick up 2, 5th round picks and a lineman to address the one thing we all been talking about. I see this as an absolute win. I hate this fanbase. #Phinsup

An American borrows $40,000 for college. Years later, the balance is $118,305.59. That’s not total paid — that’s what’s STILL owed. $77,383.59 is PURE interest. They want more for BORROWING the money than the degree itself is worth.

@end3of6days9 I truly hope people take this with the largest grain of salt. Sure this may work for very minor incidents. Health insurance is for the “this could financially ruin us” moments god forbid you land in the ER or ICU, then you see how much that “insurance payment” isn’t a scam.

💊 This woman just canceled both her and her son’s health insurance — and she’s standing firm even though everyone around her thinks she’s crazy. The new plan would’ve cost her almost $1,000 a month with a huge deductible, so she dropped it completely. Now she’s using GoodRx for her prescriptions (dropped from $50 a month to just $8 for three meds) and asking her doctors for the straight cash/self-pay price — which turned out to be way lower than she expected. It’s such a wild eye-opener about how broken the insurance system has gotten for a lot of families. Would you ever consider dropping your health insurance and going the self-pay/GoodRx route, or does that feel too risky to you? I think it could be a real money saver.

A man is going to jail for defending himself because the judge claims he put himself in the situation by not just allowing his place to get robbed and probably have his life taken from him. The judge is saying you have no right to defend yourself.

@MatrixMysteries I totally agree with this. I think student loans should be at low interest rates or maybe no rate at all. The banks would get their money back and the students could pay them off in a timely fashion.

22 years old and already $91,300 in DEBT. No house. No safety net. Not even rent she can afford — so she’s living in a camper. $51,000 on a car. $12,000 in student loans. $2,200 in medical bills. Nothing extravagant. Just the baseline. This isn’t excess. It’s survival.
