@yount1130 But "who" are republicans? Trump expanded the electorate by millions of voters (economic populists). But GOP can't relate to these people. Just trying to claw the party back to traditional conservative but there are NOT enough of those voters to win elections anymore.

🇺🇸 Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, said it out loud: Your kids will work 3.5 days a week. Live to 100. AI is going to cure cancer, stop car crashes, make new materials, save lives. "Life will be better." He's not a tech bro dreaming out loud. This man runs the money. Video: @clashreport

@r0ck3t23 NONSENSE. In 1 year AI will be 1000x's smarter than the smartest human. AI will not be creating ANY jobs! This is different. It will be doing all of them. Stop comparing apples to oranges. Nothing like past.

Jeff Bezos asked a room to imagine going back a hundred years. When almost everyone was a farmer. And telling those farmers that in 2018 there’d be a job called “massage therapist.” Bezos: “They would not have believed you.” Then a friend took it further. Bezos: “Forget massage therapist, there are dog psychiatrists.” He looked it up. Bezos: “Sure enough, you can easily hire a psychiatrist for your dog.” The room laughed. The point under the laughter wasn’t funny at all. Every time a major technology shift hits, we do the exact same thing. We count the jobs it will destroy. We never count the ones it will create. Because we can’t. They don’t have names yet. The fear is always specific. AI will replace accountants. AI will replace radiologists. AI will replace drivers. The fear has job titles and timelines and projections. The opportunity has none of those things. Because you can’t name what doesn’t exist yet. A farmer in 1920 could understand losing his job to a tractor. He could not understand gaining a career as a social media strategist. Not because he lacked intelligence. Because the entire chain of inventions between his world and that job hadn’t been built yet. Radio. Television. The internet. Smartphones. Social platforms. Creator economies. Every single link in that chain had to exist before “social media strategist” could even be a sentence. That’s where we are with AI right now. Everyone is staring at the tractor. Nobody can see the thing seven inventions away that doesn’t have a name yet. The fear is loud because it fits inside language we already have. The opportunity is silent because it doesn’t. Every technological revolution in history created more jobs than it destroyed. Every single one. Not because anyone planned it. Because human needs expand faster than machines can fill them. We didn’t need massage therapists when we were breaking our backs on farms. We needed them after machines freed our backs and stress replaced labor. The demand didn’t disappear. It migrated somewhere no one was looking. That is exactly what’s happening right now. The jobs AI creates won’t make sense to us yet. They’ll sound as absurd as “dog psychiatrist” would’ve sounded to a farmer in 1920. Until someone is running a $200 hourly practice with a six-month waitlist. The entire conversation right now is about what we’re about to lose. Nobody is talking about what we’re about to gain. Because the gains don’t have vocabulary yet. A hundred years from now, someone will stand on a stage and describe the jobs we couldn’t imagine today. And the audience will laugh. The same way we just did.

ALERT: Sheriff t-bones a car flying mid-air and flips it to end a pursuit in Wisconsin. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's office says the vehicle had a felony warrant for 2 prior police chases in recent weeks, in which they were able to evade arrest. The Sheriff's office stated, “[The sheriff] who had arrived as first backup to the initial traffic stop, was in position to take decisive action and end this dangerous pursuit by disabling the suspect’s vehicle.”

So Republicans have a 40-8 majority in the Oklahoma Senate, yet we couldnt get more than 14 votes behind the proposition that illegals should not get medicaid. Again, when you think the problem nationally is the filibuster or not enough of a majority, you are wrong. Most Republicans support illegal immigration so long as they dont have a criminal record. The Freedom Caucus is the only driving force against it.
Oklahoma Freedom Caucus@OKFreedomCaucus

The OK Senate finally took a break from their vacation to show up to work today. So the OK Freedom Caucus just forced a vote on HB4423 to prohibit illegal aliens from getting Medicaid. Everyone who voted ✅ voted for the bill to STOP welfare benefits to illegals. Everyone else voted against passing the bill…

@wisconsin_now Joe Biden pumped 5 trillion into the system during covid which caused the inflation. Since then, most of it is caused by corporations. Private equity buying up companies and jacking prices. Corps will have to be rained in but they buy off Dems and Reps so who will?

Read the room, folks. Many Wisconsinites are hurting. They’re angry. They want more dollars in their pockets now. They need them. They don’t want future promises, rhetoric, or political feuds, and they’re not sitting on X. Everyone should have to go knock on doors for an afternoon. It’s bad out there. Even Trump voters are screaming at people on the doors about the economy, gas prices and Iran.

Just to be clear: most of the radicals running for Governor in Wisconsin don’t think us taxpayers deserve to receive any of the money we overpaid to the state government. If they flip the state Legislature and win the race for Governor, Wisconsin could become one of the highest taxed states in America. We can’t let that happen!

@RMConservative Seems that Trump is endorsing whichever candidate either has money or can raise money. The best candidates (America First) usually can not raise money so they will lose for that reason. Money is the problem.

One of the most liberal Senate Republicans in deep red WV is up today and has a primary challenger. Con inc. couldnt care less, as always, because Trump endorsed the rino to basically cancel the primary. We can't go on like this. In or out. Lead or get out of the way.

@BreitbartNews For many election cycles the electorate has been getting less and less conservative. Trump increased party with working class economic populists. Going back to just conservative and you never win another election again. Not enough voters.

Mike Pence: "I think Republicans ought to do a lot of soul-searching" before 2028 "I think Republicans face a new time of choosing — whether we're going to stay on the path of the traditional conservative principles that have always defined our party for the last half century, or whether we're going to follow the siren song of populism" "We've always been a party committed to low taxes, including low tariffs and free trade. Now, as we witnessed, the president imposed unilateral tariffs on friend and foe alike until the Supreme Court stepped in and used the Constitution to turn him back." "I know Donald Trump better than his most ardent defenders know him. Okay? And he is not ideological. In fact, he often bristled when I would refer to policies as conservative. He would, with a wave of a hand, say to me, 'That's just common sense.' But now, as you see the stops and starts on our support for Ukraine under this administration, nationalizing American businesses, unilateral tariffs, price controls on everything from pharmaceuticals to credit cards, all of this should should create a backdrop for a very healthy debate over whether we're going to stay moving in the direction, on these issues, that President Trump has led our party, or whether we're going to re-ground ourselves back to those timeless conservative principles, I think, that have always made not only our party successful but, more importantly, have made America strong and prosperous and free."

@wisconsin_now The GOP "getting it together" has a lot to do with marketing properly. Apparently, GOP consultants make millions as the middle man for TV ads. So they blow most $ on that. But TV ads only reach seniors. So total waste of money. Must run facebook, other social ads.

@MsMelChen True. Women won't date guys that make less money then them. Women under 40 make more money then men. So as women end up making less money than men their dating pool will open up and people will hopefully start having kids again.

@ChrisWillx A good one. Birthrates collapsed because upper class women wont date a guy who makes less money than them. So tiny dating pool. Now it will open up once women start making less money. And birthrate probably pick up.

@wisconsin_now Rubio and Desantis can't win a pres election. They can't make a connection with working class people in rust belt states (WI, MI, PA). So they will lose. Only Vance can. WisconsinNow just can't understand the electorate has changed. Not enough conservatives to win anymore.

Wisconsin Right Now
Wisconsin Right Now@wisconsin_now·
I’m looking forward to 2028 and a new brand of conservative politics and, hopefully, a return to some DECORUM and DECENCY. I have grown deeply concerned about the messages that our young men are absorbing. Marco Rubio, Ron DeSantis- these are two fundamentally decent Republican guys who could help lead the way on that. Either would be a great conservative president. As for the Democrats, they have their own issues. Let’s just focus on Wisconsin. If they put forth even a moderately reasonable alternative - an old school Democrat/independent like a Brittany Kinser or Chris Abele type - they’d win everything in this current climate. But no. Their unions don’t allow candidates like that. Their base has reacted to Trump by growing increasingly unhinged. Old school Democrats are independents today, people without a home. Their frontrunner is a card carrying socialist who was praised for wanting to ABOLISH police and prisons and is a fervent anti capitalist and their second guy is on video looking like a nutjob. Good luck with that. Some normalcy please.
