Carragher's MNF interview on Salah was horrible & way OTT. Disgraceful way to speak about him after all he's done for LFC. Sounded like he was questioning Salah as a person. Carragher comes across like he hates him and was waiting for something like this. Comes across as jealousy as well that Salah is a far far bigger LFC legend than Carragher ever will be. Okay since 1992 Arsenal have won 23 trophies while Liverpool have won 22. So yes they have won more trophies but lets look further into this. Prem titles: Arsenal 3 v LFC 2 European trophies including super cup and club world cup: Arsenal 0 v LFC 7 FA CUP: Arsenal 9 v LFC 4 Charity Shield: Arsenal 10 v LFC 3 League cup: Arsenal 1 v LFC 6 So you are saying they have moved past Liverpool in terms of success all because nearly half their trophies are charity shields? (genuine question?) Also talking about about that further lets just go from 2020 Arsenals last proper trophy the FA CUP. Since then Liverpool have won 2 league titles, 2 league cups, 1 fa cup. Liverpool fans live of past successes, namely the 1960s to 1980s (10 titles), now they are a club with only two tarnished titles (Covid/PGMOL) in the last 35 years. The reality is, during the Premier League era (1992 to present day) Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea & Arsenal have all won more titles than Liverpool. Historically Liverpool might be more relevant but to many people alive today, including myself, all four of these clubs have moved past Liverpool in relevance due to their recent successes. Thoughts 💭
