Btw, I also wrote a 4,000+ word guide earlier in the year breaking down on exactly how QSBS works I cover how to qualify for QSBS, how to set up trusts to multiply QSBS, rolling over QSBS, restrictions to watch out for & more Let me know if you want me to send you a copy

The best part of this story is this was not even an intentional tax move initially The founder spent years as an LLC before even knowing what QSBS was & only then realized how big this could be And now, they can make hundreds of millions of dollars with zero taxes at all

@LacertaXG1 Makes sense. I feel like you want a combo there. Hit your ipython with config with `autoreload`. Have it write clear doc strings for well-resolved code so it doesn’t need to fill up context reading entire files, iterate in ipython, and write resolved code to files.

@LacertaXG1 Whats the benefit to Claude with with a REPL? It can already write to and execute files. That’s a suboptimal workflow for a human, but I feel like it’s not an issue for Claude code?

Gotta love Twitter support. Accidentally hit annual for Dev premium API instead of monthly and when I messaged support for the price fix they said sorry, can't refund and do the switch.

@TheFlowHorse G-Wagons are very nice. The pneumatic bolsters are fun. Would personally swap the GLS for one, and go for somethibg more tactile / playful for the car.

Horse current fleet is F150 for the ponies, GLS550 for the babies, and 50th anniversary worked M5 for the child in me. Just might consider ditching the M and replacing it with something else.

@brian_armstrong @gaby_goldberg My first crypto purchase was $100 of BTC on coinbase in 2014. Not quite 1.5m, but it’s still there. Untouched for over 10 years!!

If you bought $100 of Bitcoin when Coinbase was founded in June 2012, it would now be worth about $1,500,000. If you kept the $100 USD you'd only be able to purchase about $73 worth of goods today. Bitcoin is the best performing asset of the last 12 years, and it's still early days. Every government, especially those looking to create a hedge against inflation, should create a Bitcoin strategic reserve. Happy Bitcoin $100k day.

I've been pitched "yelp but with friends" every week for the last year. I will answer all your DMs at once: Yes, it's a reasonable idea. But no, you shouldn't build it. Let me tell you what will happen: Because it's the first app you've ever built, you'll be inclined to allow reviews for all things—home services, restaurants, shops. And you will justify it to yourself with, "Well, the opportunity is even bigger!" It will take you 2-3 years to realize that no one is using it because [1] users can't remember to use your app when it's not specifically marketed around a vertical (i.e., "restaurant recs from friends") and [2] reviews will be spread out across too many businesses for users to get signal from the app. By that point, it will be too late to verticalize.

Highly recommend getting eloped for anyone that’s thinking about it. The day was ours to enjoy. No worrying about family, no stress organising it and afterwards, everyone wants to take you out and celebrate even more. Grateful for all the people in my life. Truly blessed.

@AltcoinPsycho Sames. Had a sit down last night and marked exits on every position I have. As shitty as it is getting out or reducing exposure only to watch something rip is, it actually feels so good to derisk with a profitable trade, regardless of what happens after.

Highly suggest planning your exit strategy / marking take profit levels before euphoria kicks in. It's much harder to be objective when price goes parabolic. Your goalposts will start to shift. I made that mistake in past cycles, it's not fun.
