My senior brother came home one day with a tall babe from Abia. He gathered the family and introduced her as the woman he wanted to marry. My dad didn’t even let him finish before he got upset. He said it wasn’t happening—that all his children must marry from our state. Mum calmed him down, but she didn’t support it either. Later that night, after the girl had left, my dad called us together and started giving reasons why we shouldn’t marry from another state. My brother told him that he and the girl had been together for a long time, so he couldn’t just leave her like that. I told them to let him marry whoever he likes—after all, he’s the one who will live with her. The real reason I supported him was because I was also dating a girl from Abia at the time. Mum later agreed, but my dad still refused. With Mum’s support, my brother stood his ground and married her. Guess what? Today, that same lady is my dad’s favorite daughter-in-law.

I just opened TikTok and saw a 20yr old girl say, ‘Only me PCOS, fatty liver, kidney problems.’ I checked the comments and it was full of girls aged 17–20 saying the same thing. Then I saw another: ‘Only me PCOS, ovarian cysts, enlarged ovaries, fatty liver, 2 years without menstruation… and I just turned 20.’ My goodness

@VikyInsights Bold of you to think that an average 9ja girl will understand this question and answer honestly. They will always impress you with their answers especially if you seem fiscally okay, until you enter that relationship to be welcomed by the answer you never got.

You can’t understand a woman you want to marry by asking “What’s your favorite color?” Surface questions give surface answers. If you want clarity, ask deeper questions. Here are 8 that will show you who she really is. 👇🧵

@auntyoma_ @UcySunshyne Take whatever that resonates with you. From Imo to Abia, majority bear Ifeanyi instead of Iheanyi. Same Abia/Imo bear Kelechi while Anambra and Enugu go with Kenechi. Majority in Abia/Imo bear Ifeoma instead of Iheoma even though our dialect is "ihe" not "Ife"

@UcySunshyne So therefore an Abia State person should not bear the name Lotanna?

Igbo name is Igbo name. Which one is 'Lotanna is Anambra people name', 'Abia State own is Chetanna'.

I’m always scared of carrying 3 men at once… if anything goes wrong, they can easily overpower me. So around 5pm, I got a booking. Reached there—boom, 3 men. I told them I can’t go, said the place was too far. These guys started shouting 😭 “Na clean car with AC come pick us, you must go oo” Omo… I no too like the energy, but they started joking and somehow I relaxed small. Sharp sharp, I increased the fare… and they paid without stress 👀 But I still wasn’t comfortable. I just started gisting them about how life no dey favour me like that 😂😂 Lowkey thinking: if una get evil plan, make una pity me change am 🤣🤣 Finally got to the destination, dropped them… they paid complete. I just parked and said: “God, today is enough” 😭 Straight home. Closed for the day. Sometimes this job na courage + God 🙏 #myboltexperience #driver

@desertstorrm @Reuters They can't be stifled because they are already in demand globally. If you mess with them, many countries are ready to welcome them. Palantir from USA already made a bid but they turned it down, so they had to invest in the company as they could not buy it outrightly.

@chris_kels @NwaAdaIgbo1 Sorry. I was only trying to play. If I wanted to say that your entire post is a lie, I wouldn't have stressed it like that. The only thing missing is an emoji. Also, your statement was somewhat direct. Next time don't be direct when you are not so sure. Sorry

@Chisomaga29 @NwaAdaIgbo1 "You may be right, but even here in Imo, we still give kids those names and my daughter's name is Urenna" This is a better way to put it than saying outrightly that my post was a lie, since I didn't say those places I mentioned are the ONLY places. Two truths can exist ma.

@Arrange_dmw @yL_IN_LAGOS A tree in a compound surrounded by thick forests? What do you need a tree for in a setting where trees outnumber the houses? Do you even understand the purpose of planting trees in the cities? This house is in a village in the east, not in one of the eastern cities.

@egbe_ntu Why are you sounding like a weakling? Why are you making it seem those baboons can match us but can't match the fulanis? Do you realize you are making us the weak ones in this situation.

@chris_kels @sochinenyenwa_ Nwa nkpi you’re yet to answer the question. A lady shared her opinion over an open topic nd the first u could think of was sexualizing nd fantasizing abt pouring in her like the retarded percent that you are. Who raised u all? Do u need to pay bride price to treat a woman right?

A Fulani herder used a cattle stick to strike an Amotekun officer in the face. The officer's mouth was instantly disfigured by the blow. These individuals are really overstepping their bounds. What do you think should be done to him ?
