@ElChapmano @Wario64 I played both, and for average enjoyment per minute, Vampire Survivors did pretty well against Elden Ring for me.
effort and graphics != value

@MrIppikodoku @Wario64 Because of what they pulled off with so little resources. I liked this article: vg247.com/vampire-surviv…
English

@Wario64 Seriously?! What exactly makes this game remotely worthy of these awards?
English

@SashaMTL Hm. Yeah, approximately zero time should be spent on labor compared to everything else.
English

@SashaMTL For men and women, yes. Other equally qualified people don't announce credentials as part of their name. I don't think we need an honorific for staff+ engineers - another prestigious title granted by an arbitrary institution.
Still useful to know though 🤷.

@sulamitaivanov Practically important to get in the door because of perceived value, but not necessary to get the skills you need to be valuable as a programmer.
I got a BS and MS in CS 5 years ago. Unsure if I'd recommend that, but def wouldn't put it in JD requirements
English

@RewindAI I'm hesitant to do the trial even though it's local - I don't want to record other people, like family or other employees, without their consent.

New contender for "harder grind than free bird on expert plus": same, but 85% speed. Beat it! #beatsaber

@Blue_Mage @_aphrael @ForeverEversley > correlating with some data from another public source
And the more effort that's put into breaching someone's privacy, the more bannable.
English

@chrisdotio @_aphrael @ForeverEversley You understand that information being publicly available is legally required, right? There is a way to get a privacy exception and Musk has it, but Sweeney was correlating with some data from another public source.
English

@lechebestia @BigEwe1 @ForeverEversley I don't see why it needs to be public. You could limit it to people who can actually do something about midair collision
English

@chrisdotio @BigEwe1 @ForeverEversley Flight data is available to everyone through the FAA, because it is funded through taxpayer money. You can look up where any plane is at any time because it is necessary to the safety of air travel and to avoid midair collision. Stating the destination of a plane isn't doxxing
English

@_aphrael @Blue_Mage @ForeverEversley Yeah, I think it's fine to ban that here. Limit its reach so people can maintain their privacy.
English

@chrisdotio @Blue_Mage @ForeverEversley There is a well known website that tracks flight information. You can literally use it to find out where any plane that's in the air is. It's been like that for at least twenty years.
English

@BigEwe1 @ForeverEversley I guess that doesn't hold much water for me. Legality is a really low bar for good behavior.
If I were a public figure, I'd want as much privacy as I could get my hands on. Just because he's a jerk doesn't mean the rules change for him for the worse.
English

@chrisdotio @ForeverEversley He is a public figure and it’s legal. You can report on it.
