@Krennic_AL Wake County NC being the “South Proper” but not neighboring Johnston County tells me everything I need to know about this map. One has a population over a million and a bunch of major universities and international companies. The other has the Ham and Yam Festival.

As a well traveled Southerner, who has been to all states involved, this is my map of the “South”
