@Fra_Loki I’m testing the deck again now that we know the meta from the PT. So far the main card I’m interested in trying is Erode, but will need more testing to see if other changes should be made.

Middling performance but cannot always gamble on your deck choice and win. Super fun testing with @worldlycounsel! Will share our limited approach once home. Decks I'd look at: Hardened Academic combo, GW landfall (and counters) & our Jeskai Tablet / Prowess decks.

Saw a lot of fully 5c decks but felt like you needed very specific pieces for them to work (Snarl Song, plenty of duals, cheap interaction, Divergent Equation/Wisdom of the Ages, and bombs). Practiced Offense ended up being the card that decided the most games.

Won seven collector boxes in the Arena Direct this weekend! Took some trial and error to crack this format but ended up having the most success with Silverquill aggro or Prismari splashing either white or green. Had several Witherbloom pools but they never got there.

@OndrejStrasky Llanowar elves ban is ridiculous. Cub is the problem

I'm hoping for Standard bans in the next window. I'd pick these three cards. Llanowar Elves could be Badgermole Cub. How about you?

Looking at the first standard results with the new set, Izzet got a ton of new tools and the other colors got relatively little. WOTC really needs to reflect on the design philosophy that is consistently creating such an imbalance between the colors.

I got bit by a tick and then randomly read an article about how tick bites can give people an allergy to red meat. Honestly, I think I'd rather just die than never be able to eat a burger again.

@MSigrist83 The pool looks pretty subpar but I wonder if you could just play straight GB? Leatherhead and Raph & Mikey are quite strong.

2-2 with a well below average deck. Extremely happy with how I played given how bad my pool was, played against four much better days than mine and kept every single match close. Feeling almost back to form.

3-3 in the qualifier weekend with the worst pool I’ve opened in this format. So glad this is the last time I’ll have to play this set!

What do you mean Slickshot doesn’t rotate until January 2027?! I am counting the days.

@Dafore3 @chrish_mtg loot didn't have ward and had to tap to get the cards, I think this is probably quite a bit better

Will this see play in Standard?

I know Pioneer's not a real format anymore but Cutter has no business being legal.
