@dili_mao @victorydowns He’s become the face of the valley
English

@ZwarFarms I got another 40ha done before another 10-15 mm to delay things again
English

@ZwarFarms Yeah looks like we’re okay for a few days then it starts again by the looks of the weather apps this morning. Pushing for a lateJanuary finish again which we were looking to avoid 😑
English

@chrishallion 👍good result, hope it continues.
Another 2.5mm here last night plus 26mm over the weekend 😒
English

@ZwarFarms 11 mm on Saturday just gone, I was surprised where the moisture was at yesterday afternoon. This is the first of the canola and getting a couple of tonne off it and oil appears to be down will see later on when we deliver it.
English

@chrishallion Any rain down there Chris?
We haven't reapt since Saturday.
Hope the canola is going well

If anyone is interested, I found this on the @SAPowerNetworks site. Mapped powerlines in the look up and live section. Handy going into harvest.

English

@brill_ag Canola across the road about 80% damage. If calibre was on the flat I’d expect to see a percentage of damage similar to a couple other paddocks we have

English

@chrishallion Do you get a lot of separation of harvest timing? That’s what I’ve been thinking about along those lines, may not have saved us this time but odds are it will help
English

@brill_ag Not in our experience,we get to wheat late as we’re on canola and fabas for a while so not waiting on ripening. I’ll grab a photo to share of current crop and timing stage to share with you. It helped us last year.
English

@brill_ag We’ve used previous frosted yield maps/ elevation the last few years and sown calibre on non risk zones and Dennison on the high risk areas. One pass 3 bin box.
English

@DaveyJohn_676 @NewHollandAG @AgLeaderTech What would you do different in the frosty zones? I'm thinking variable variety maturity if air seeder is set up for it but could create a harvest timing issue
English

@chrishallion @theGRDC You must just have your overall P levels fairly strong and the crop catches up once it accesses soil reserves?
English

Looking at @theGRDC Canola phosphorus trials at Wallendbeen comparing organic and inorganic P sources. P deficiency (nil P in second photo v 40 P first photo) looking nothing like textbook P deficiency (3rd photo). Wonder how much P deficiency goes unnoticed?

English

@janadixon_ @WeedSmartAU Yes. Slashing a lot more, tackle some wild oats blowing in/ fire prevention. Residuals where it won’t affect trees etc new residuals when we get access may help with this, double knocking problem spots etc. single spraying some easy kill spots
English

When are you controlling (spraying*) fenceline weeds??
*see comments for further poll options.
Poll ahead of upcoming @WeedSmartAU webinar, chatting about fenceline weed management, residual options, non-herbicide strategies, and latest resistance trends @PBoutsalis
English

@janadixon_ @WeedSmartAU We do two options in the first and all four in the last poll.
English

What strategies are you using for fenceline weed management? @WeedSmartAU
