Over 40 lifter? Once chin-ups/pull-ups trigger elbow pain (and for most they eventually will) you need to switch to pulldowns. Doesn't mean you can't do pull-ups ever again, but probably not regularly. Good news is, a variety of lifts = better joint health & better growth.
