@Bartek_Kamyk_ Your overall point is 100% accurate. However, even the most "transparent" old school guys plays fast & loose with the truth. Especially when you compare interviews now vs. 10-20 years ago. I love Dorian but he sure has "modified" some of his cycles over the years.

People struggle to believe that Jay Cutler only used 750 mg of test as a base of his cycles. Or that Dorian Yates peaked at around 2 grams total off season. Or that Lee Priest's looked like a pro at 19 after his first 6 weeks of '2cc' of deca cycle... and used to take 7 months completely off anabolics after a competition. I get it... It’s hard to believe for any fool with “normal” genetics and subpar training, who’s been on PEDs for years. So instead, the fool takes it as an insult to his fragile ego... But let's consider this: Jay was squatting 700 lb at 19… and some of you still can’t squat 4 plates after 10 years on gear. Dorian Yates won his first local show as a natural athlete after just 8 months of training. For his second show, after only 18 months, he ran what he described as a “bikini girl” cycle. He beat guys who had been training and using gear for 10 years. Backstage, officials told him he was the best heavyweight in the UK. Lee Priest looked better natural at 19 than some pros today. At some point you have to realize and just fuckin' accept it: Those guys were never within your reach. They were born for this... Even if you took 3 X what you imagine they took, you'll never look like them. Any idiot with this imaginary ‘pro cycle’ idea thinks old pros are lying… almost like Jay, Lee and Dorian run a business gatekeeping anyone from becoming one of them.

@ProjectGokuu Poliquin had congenital heart issues. All of his brothers also died young of heart attacks. The fact he carried extra muscle mass (or the drugs he took to help build that muscle) pales in comparison to the role of genetic predisposition.

Dr. Jack Kruse says bodybuilders die decades earlier than the average person. His friend Charles Poliquin is proof. • World-class physique • Looked like a Greek statue • One of the most famous strength coaches alive Kruse told him repeatedly he was going to die before 60. He died of a heart attack at 58. Kruse says the pattern is everywhere: • NFL players die early. • Professional wrestlers die early • Gorillas die 20-30 years earlier than hhumans They all look jacked. They all die young. Kruse says the reason is physics. Energy cannot be created or destroyed. When you pack mitochondria into muscle, you are stealing that energy from your brain and heart—the two organs that actually determine how long you live. He points to Kleiber's law. Every mammal on Earth gets the same number of heartbeats in a lifetime. Gorillas have far more muscle than humans. They also die 20-30 years sooner. Nature chose brain over muscle for longevity. "Go find me anybody who's 85 years old that looks like that. You're going to find like not a lot of people." The longest-lived humans on Earth are small people with belly fat. Not bodybuilders. "Where you bury your mitochondrial density is the key." — Dr. Jack Kruse (@DrJackKruse) on the Danny Jones (@JonesDanny) podcast PS: If interested in content like this, follow me as I continue sharing unconventional health insights you won't find anywhere else on X.
Goku@ProjectGokuu

Dr. Jack Kruse just revealed how blue light hijacks the dopamine reward pathways in your brain. Your phone, laptop, and TV are all running on a light that keeps your dopamine low by design. He says this was engineered on purpose. Kruse is a neurosurgeon who traced where this blue light display technology came from: 1) In the 1950s, DARPA funded IBM to develop liquid crystal displays using blue light. Side note: DARPA is the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. They build military technology. The internet started there. 2) In 1995, DARPA gave the search algorithm to two Stanford students who founded Google along with this technology 3) Today, Meta and Google own the patents on how this light is delivered through every screen you use. Kruse asked one question no one in tech has answered. Why does every screen on Earth default to blue light? You need third-party software just to get red light on your own device. Kruse says the reason is simple. Blue light at specific frequencies makes screens addictive. It lowers dopamine over time. It makes users more compliant and easier to influence. DARPA wants it sticky so people can be programmed through the content they consume. He says 55% of the American population has already been affected by screen technology in exactly this way. The blue glow on your face right now isn't accidental. According to Kruse, it never was. — Jack Kruse (@drplebjack) on the Danny Jones (@JonesDanny) Podcast

This guy is a freak, and I respect that. In the early 2000s, Ronnie Coleman went on Jay Leno and claimed 3% bodyfat - he has never been that low. For reference, this might be 6% and the only reason I was ever decent at bodybuilding is my ability to get leaner than anyone else. That’s it, my one superpower. But the misunderstanding of bodyfat isn’t a big deal, but just in case you’re wondering….that’s closer to 10% which is still insanely lean.

@MarcLobliner Everyone is using different methods to assess bodyfat, from calipers to bodpod to bioimpedance to Dexas. Dexas need to be recalibrated regularly, also need good operators. Finally, extreme muscle will mess up Dexa, if it's calibrated for normies. Might explain Ronnie's claim.

@we4v3r @Breedlove22 Then you don't understand the difference between adding muscle tissue and retaining fluid. Not to mention that 600mg is 3 times a legit TRT dose. I guess I can't help you.

It’s kind of wild that Keith Tkachuk is acting like this because he won absolutely nothing as an NHLer. Every team he was on was ass or choked when the time mattered. His relevance as an NHLer is because his two nepo kids benefited from his NHL experience and rich background.

@BryanKrahn @Breedlove22 okay, this post makes a good point that the group not working out wouldn’t keep packing on muscle indefinitely but it doesn’t seem to discredit the findings at all

@CoffeeBlackMD @MarkBski Had a similar exchange with Mark. He doesn't want to learn (and potentially finish his fat loss journey) because that means admitting he's wrong. I was a low carb guy once too. Bought into the same BS. And I couldn't get lean until I dropped my ego and listened to real experts.

I don’t have time for your bullshit mark. Rang and rave. I’m not paying any attention to it. You don’t have secret knowledge THEY dont want us to know about. There isn’t a conspiracy to keep you sick so we can make money on it. You are too much calorie dense foods. Your metabolism became inflexible because you didn’t exercise. You broke you. And the extreme solution is to force feed bacon and ribeyes through the broken metabolism and since none of thhs could be any part your personal responsibility even if complicated by a million years of evolution you create a mental construct where a literal normal and natural food group is poison and you were a victim. It’s not true. It protects the ego. But it’s not intellectually rigorous or honest. And that’s all a bitter pill. Which is why you all hang together reinforcing the bullshit for each other.

one more thing peptide bro retards stop using the term "stack" there is no stack. you are not a database. fake peptide #1 does not connect in any way to counterfeit GLP-1 #2 which has no relationship to meth/adhd pill #3. only stack here is the stack of stupid shit you are doing

@we4v3r @Breedlove22 There are no such studies showing what you claim. And if you're referring to the "600mg test" NEJM study from 1996, that also has been thoroughly discredited. Keep in mind, "fat free mass" and "lean mass" are not "muscle mass."

i understand why you would say this, but there are studies where groups who take trt and do no workouts gain more muscle than the group that takes none and consistently works out. i agree, consistency is fundamental. but the science pretty strongly suggests that for most people just hopping on trt and doing literally nothing else will lead to more gains than faithfully hitting the gym 3-5 times a week. it’s really that much of a cheat code.

Even if your diet, training and lifestyle are 100% dialed-in, legit TRT alone will not transform your physique, period. And if any of those factors are sub-par, results are even less significant. Healthy T levels will help you feel better though. Which is the whole point.

Fresh watched a kid get killed on a basketball court, watched a girl die in crossfire, lost his friend Chucky… and realized the only way to survive that world was to outthink it. Revenge on Jake wasn’t just anger. It was the final move in the chess game his Pops taught him.

@we4v3r @Breedlove22 Nope. The hormones are significant though not the biggest part. His consistency is number one. And regarding the gear, it was layering in the complimentary DHTs along with the T. Not sure he'd even need the AIs but I suppose his labs made the case.

@Breedlove22 this is the real takeaway even just a small to modest dose of trt (nothing crazy or dangerous) will get you 75% of the way to this compared to being natty props for the transparency
