there's an anecdote that John McCarthy said he regretted using the term "artificial intelligence" and said he would have preferred in hindsight "applied statistics" -- i'm sure it's somewhere obvious but can someone point me to it?

So @geoffreyhinton finally admits he was wrong... ..when 8 years ago he claimed: "it's completely obvious we should stop training radiologists because in 5 yrs my AI will replace them" ...wait for it... Only to now claim he was right all along! It will be in 10 years, not 5.
