So to any leader reading, don’t forget: it’s “His Kingdom” you’re building, not yours. Admit your mistakes, speak openly about your organization’s misses and don’t you dare delegate your responsibility as the leader. Nobody else can speak the words “I made a mistake” for you.

But the kingdom of God is upside down. The kingdom of God is built on the confession of sins.

Why aren’t there more leadership books/podcasts that teach the importance of leaders repenting and speaking about their mistakes? Because it makes a leader’s kingdom appear weak.

Start planting seeds today that you’ll be proud of at harvest time.

Too often we make excuses for where we are in life. We want to reap the rewards of success without taking ownership of the poor investments. The result of these excuses is missed opportunities and unmet expectations.

Just like a farmer isn’t surprised when they don’t harvest a crop they didn’t plant a seed for, you shouldn’t be surprised when your future doesn’t produce the harvest you wanted when you didn’t plant the proper habits and discipline.
