The #NeverDraftKickers rant is not about the importance of the position. In terms of process, though, it's smarter to draft a punter. The chances of getting a good kicker via the draft aren't higher than in UDFA or just signing a UFL guy.

@wendellfp Ok man. Hate it all you want, Kicker is unfortunately at very important position

@Peter_Bukowski putting really good, hard hits on the ball. I’d probably take him first. Maybe three this year have the potential to get drafted, but there’s nobody that really stands out.” Went three for three at the East-West Game, including a 57-yarder. Averaged 63.2 yards on 237 kickoffs

@Peter_Bukowski from 40-plus (75%). His long was 56 yards. “He can hit some over 60,” one special-teams coach said. “Very good kickoff guy. At the combine, they’ve got this Trackman like in golf that can track ball speed. This guy had the fastest ball speed at the combine, which tells you he’s

There was thought before DDS draft he could be the pick at 52. Was a consensus R3 player (70th by consensus) Hard to explain the fall. The tape is solid and the athletic tools are all-time.
Subha@Subha1971

@Peter_Bukowski Why did he last to the 4th round and not go in the top 50?

Yes he projects great in the slot! Yes he’s older. But at pick 52 you may not get the perfect “Packer fit” as you would with a 1st round pick Listen to @AndyHermanNFL here. Sounds like a FOOTBALL PLAYER to me. I’d find a spot for him and put him on the field 🤷‍♂️

Five of Chad Patrick's hits allowed tonight came against some variation of the fastball. His cutter and four-seamer got just three whiffs out of 25 swings. "I think that just comes down to not throwing enough slurves to get them off of it or changing eye levels," he said.

My mother just sent me this pic of my 11th birthday party, 1982. It was obviously a real fucking banger as you can see. That’s me in the upper right wearing the Pony shirt with Pete Rose’s haircut.

@Peter_Bukowski And neither did Parsons or the agent, they never called. 2 wrongs dont make a right. Someone had to be the adult in the room, none were. Thats on him too. And im sure he had a legit injury when he practiced almost right after the trade.

Yea, not sure where the disconnect is but most Cowboys people didnt want to trade Parsons & arent salty about the player. Its his repeated silly stance that he did nothing wrong in what happened, as well as the team not winning with him. No one feels jilted.
Peter Bukowski@Peter_Bukowski

Notice how many of these are in the fourth quarter, closing out games. For whatever Parsons was in Dallas (and Cowboys fans are feeling very jilted), Parsons was clutch last year for the Packers to the point they started playing closer music for him

@chrissinclair1 Indeed. You’re missing the point that Peter was the one, not Paul. Christianity wouldn’t have spread if it wasn’t for Paul conveniently deciding you could pick and choose.

This is modernist excuse making. Either the laws all apply or they don’t. Picking and choosing and pretending you’re not picking and choosing is still picking and choosing. Such a distinction is extra-biblical, ie made up to suit you.
chris sinclair@chrissinclair1

@LT1with28Zs @Tpars_boii @MikeMarshallCEO there were ceremonial, civil, and moral laws in the Old Testament. civil and ceremonial don't apply today, they were for a specific time for a specific people. Moral laws do apply, because God is never changing.

@MikeMarshallCEO Yes it has. Paul chastised Peter about this very subject. Paul made it clear that Christians no longer have to follow ceremonial laws.

@MikeMarshallCEO @LT1with28Zs @Tpars_boii it's pretty obvious if you read the entire Bible. the civil laws were put into place because Israel was a new nation and needed order. the ceremonial laws were to separate them from the other nations and to pave the way for the coming Mesiah
