The #NeverDraftKickers rant is not about the importance of the position. In terms of process, though, it's smarter to draft a punter.
The chances of getting a good kicker via the draft aren't higher than in UDFA or just signing a UFL guy.

Yea, not sure where the disconnect is but most Cowboys people didnt want to trade Parsons & arent salty about the player.
Its his repeated silly stance that he did nothing wrong in what happened, as well as the team not winning with him. No one feels jilted.

Notice how many of these are in the fourth quarter, closing out games. For whatever Parsons was in Dallas (and Cowboys fans are feeling very jilted), Parsons was clutch last year for the Packers to the point they started playing closer music for him
