@lecagle @hmfalconer @gregory_palermo My co-author @BrandeeEaster and I are working on a little something that makes this point in more detail, but it won’t be out until sometime in the new year.

@hmfalconer @gregory_palermo @lecagle Great references and advice here. Id also recommend caution when linking coding to rhetorical effect. Early visual rhetoric work tended to subscribe to a strong theory of rhetoric (“this feature had this effect”) and that’s not really how pictures or rhetoric work

Guffawed at / identified with this. A lot. But also monarchy is bad and the British royal family has actively harmed people all over the world for a very long time. Probably should stop allowing them to chair.
