'@Christinainge you've already shared great insight and a preview of your event with us next week @NortheasternU. Let's conclude with Q6. "Most people want to know the million-dollar answer to this question, "Will AI take my job".
#AMABCHAT
@amaBoston@northeasternu AI is going to take many entry-level positions. We can be prepared by being familiar with how #AI is being used, what roles and work it's replacing, and finding our niche in adding the human touch. #AMABCHAT#AImarketing#jobsearch 1/2
'@ChristinaInge What a great time to become more technical if folks haven't already. Let's look at folks who haven't dabbled.
Q5: Where do you recommend folks start? #AMABCHAT
@amaBoston Those who know what AI can do in their jobs will be better positioned to identify those skills that #AI can't replace right now, and lean into those skills
2/3 #AMABCHAT
@amaBoston Learn to be comfortable integrating it into your work. The marketers who will struggle in the future will be those who don't understand what !AI can and cannot do. 1/3 #AMABCHAT
@amaBoston Get skilled at AI, especially prompt engineering. The next wave of #AI adoption, however, will be in marketing automation and data reporting. Building those skills is going to be critical. #AMABCHAT
'@ChristinaInge Thoughtlight sounds like a great term for folks to recall.
Based on your study: we will look at two groups that can benefit from exposure to AI, esp for hiring. Let's start with students in Q4. #AMABCHAT
@amaBoston Most of the study confirmed what we are seeing at my agency, Thoughtlight. #Marketers are primarily using AI in content production. Whether it's brainstorming ideas or outlining blog posts, we are getting increasingly comfortable with #AI playing a role. #AMABCHAT
'@Christinainge That it does after navigating the learning curve, what to look for etc.
Q3: Moving on to your study, what was confirmed that was loosely established etc.
#AMABCHAT
@amaBoston But movement is happening to improve that
In reply to Q2, In a nutshell, it works. It works extremely well at tasks where there was a strong need for what it accomplishes, which is to take rote, tedious tasks off our plates. #AI#AMABCHAT#AIinMarketing#AIInnovation
'@Christinainge sounds like the landscape is meeting in the middle for both parties involved while being efficient.
Q2: Looking back how do you think AI took off so quickly for most people's POV? #AMABCHAT
@amaBoston But right now, AI is actually perpetuating bias, so we are a ways away from that time. In the meantime, networking remains the way to get a job for most marketers. #AMABCHAT
@amaBoston More powerful AIs have the potential to be more accurate, and to help good candidates get to the top of the resume pile. AIs designed with equity and inclusion in mind can also help build a more diverse workforce by reducing the role of human biases. #AMABCHAT
@amaBoston Right now, candidates are frustrated with the ways that employers use AI. Good candidates are being eliminated by text analytics tools that can't truly understand candidates' skillsets; they are just looking for keywords. #AMABCHAT
