@AlGetzWrestling Looked up this 1983 Rikidozan movie on one of the Japanese databases. The title is ザ・力道山 (literally "The Rikidozan") and one of the tags for its entry is indeed ドキュメンタリー (documentary) so you and @jon_boucher were correct.

@AlGetzWrestling Don't quote me on this, but it's possible Jose Lothario may have promoted at least Beaumont. There's a Beaumont promo from Jose in "Watts garage tapes." It proves nothing but he's the kind of guy who might have been figured in.

@AlGetzWrestling Did any of the SETX towns specify if they were promoted by Paul Boesch or maybe one of the Kozaks? I always assumed Beaumont was absorbed into Mid-South via the Houston agreement, but dont know much about Galveston, Port Arthur or Orange.

BAD GUYS is not good but with 80s comedies like this they are hard not to enjoy. Kinda odd wrestling fans don’t talk about this one like they do No Holds Barred - again, not good but with all the wrestling stars and cast seems like it would be a cult favorite.

@Plaidstallions @VinegarSyndrome Some of those are going OOP too, so nice score. I should have realized it was that time based on the PS anniversary, but how cool and yet bittersweet.

A couple weeks back, I had just dropped off BOTH kids at college and felt off. My pal Dr. Durant pointed out a sale at @VinegarSyndrome, and some much-needed retail therapy began. Blu-rays are my comfort food; I have some interesting cinema to digest.
