Thank You! 👏 Derry City FC would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed in any way to what was an amazing night at Find Insurance Celtic Park. derrycityfc.net/2026/04/club-t… As you will have seen, a huge amount of work went into getting the venue ready for the big game. It's never a good idea to name names in this situation however it would be unfair not to highlight the efforts of various people over the past number of weeks. Particular thanks then to Stephen Barker and the County Board of Derry GAA, Diamond Corrugated, our very valuable sponsors who produced the magnificent stadium banners, and to our stewards and security, partners who ensured everything ran smoothly. Thanks also to our club staff, to Karen Pyne, our excellent media team and the many volunteers who were very much in the thick of it all week. Our club Board has shown great vision in bringing the temporary move about, but it would be remiss not to mention the efforts of Robert Martin and Patrick Simpson who both played a blinder! And of course, thank you to our brilliant supporters- all 7104 - who turned up and created an atmosphere that we haven't seen in a home league game for a very long time. The players and management fed off that last night and they responded with a fantastic performance- fitting of an historic evening. We'll hopefully see you all again on Bank Holiday Monday.
