Seems like there’s a consensus that Memphis is the least desirable city for players to go… What is the equivalent for the NFL??

I’ve been called a lot of things in my day, a hack, a clown and plenty of others, but this marks the first time I’ve been referred to as a “redneck”. Jason Whitlock well done 👍

The below post is why LeBron James took time out of his schedule to play golf and talk like a good-old-boy with a group of Florida rednecks. Nike is cooked. The company ran off the American base turning LeBron into Al Sharpton Lite. Memphis.

Bruce Springsteen went full TDS on his concert tour in Minneapolis. People go to concerts to escape day to day lives, not be lectured by some know-it-all. Springsteen has always been overrated, but now he's overrated AND pathetic.

I will never understand why artists with huge deep catalogs do cover songs live. I get it’s cool / different for them. But if I’m going to see an act with a deep big catalog I love I want to hear their songs. Unless they had a hit with that cover. Then I get it. IMO

Awesome performance of Purple Rain by @springsteen and #Estreetband last night in Minneapolis at @TargetCenterMN . Absolutely stellar guitar work by Nils and Tom Morello. Stunning. Video by SeanEsq on YouTube #springsteen

10 LIV Golf Thoughts Pre-Masters 1)This has been nothing less than a dream start for the league this season. Best opening stretch in the short history of LIV Golf! 2)Anthony Kim winning in Adelaide is arguably the biggest and most important moment LIV has ever had. AK was brought on by Greg Norman a few years back with an inspiring story of a man who was finding a second wind in life. The golf, though, proved to be a slow grind as AK toiled near the bottom of the leaderboard in most events. After relegation, for him to earn his way back, get signed onto the 4Aces, and then to chase down Rahm and Bryson in front of the massive Aussie crowd was jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring, emotional, and electric. What a moment for AK and for LIV as well. To see AK with his wife and daughter emotional on the 18th green was one of the best moments in all of golf in many years! 3)The debut of the South Africa LIV event is also up there as far as most important moments in LIV history. I honestly think that there hasn't been a better debut tournament in all of golf in the past 3 decades (at least) that was as successful as this one was. Massive crowds, perfect energy, the love and support of the Southern Guards, the playoff between the Titans... what a perfect debut. Now LIV has 2 monster tournaments, which is hard to describe how important that was for LIV to add another one like that. All tournaments are growing, but now there are 2 models for others to look to for how great LIV tournaments can be. 4)With Brooks Koepka and Patrick Reed leaving in the offseason, LIV seemed to be at a critical cross-roads as the season began. Momentum seemed to be heading in the wrong direction. Somehow, though, the league seems to be in a better position than ever with a deeper field, great storylines, a positive energy, and a growing market around the world! 5)Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm are now the undisputed Titans of LIV Golf, and both have lived up to that billing so far this season. Rahmbo has been in the Top 5 in every event (unbelievable consistency), and Bryson is firing on all cylinders lately and has won back-to-back events heading into the Masters. It is nothing but good for these 2 to be playing this well, and there is no doubt that both are Top 5 golfers in the world at the moment. I truly hope that both of them win at least 1 Major Championship this season! 6)The switch to 72 holes has been a positive for the league. I was on the fence about it at the beginning, but the results speak for themselves. I have enjoyed getting to watch an extra day of golf at each event, and the flow of the tournament through the 4 days has helped to produce some great drama and fantastic finishes. 7)Although only rewarding the Top 10 with OWGR points (or "crumbs" as some of my friends would say) is frustrating, it is a great start and has also been a positive for the league. With growing crowds, major exemptions (needs to be more of those as well), OWGR points, and golfers emotional about victories, it is really tough for anyone to claim that this is an "exhibition" now. I do believe that the number of OWGR finishers will grow each year and that things are headed in a positive direction. 8)With the TV production of the product, there have been positives and negatives that have been a little hard to get used to for those of us that have watched LIV from the beginning. It has been frustrating to not have the pylon showing both the individual and team at the same time, and it has been REALLY frustrating not having a pre-round and post-round show available for us to watch on the app. I understand that TNT must have paid extra to be able to have an exclusive pre and post round show, and I hear great things about it, but it doesn't make sense to me that the rest of us don't get to see it. On the positive side, the television product does look great and crisp this season overall. Arlo and David are both excelling as usual in the booth, and Jerry is amazing out on the course and seems to be happy doing it. The on-course interviews by Rachel have been great and she is a phenomenal talent, and the addition of Henni Zuel has been a home run as well. It has taken me a while to get used to Nicolas Colsaerts and Brett Rumford, but they seem to be fitting in well. I'm glad Su-Ann is still on the team, but I do miss Dom a lot out there. 9)The 4Aces being back in the mix of best teams in the league is great for the league. Thomas Detry has been an excellent signing and his buddy Thomas Pieters has benefited from that as well! The change from PReed to AK has been a shockingly good move for the team. Having DJ's team back near the top just feels right, and they are right there with Ripper, Crushers, Legion, Torque, and Southern Guards as best teams! 10)The development of the young players in LIV is paramount for the future of the league, and it will be interesting to watch which ones of them break out into top players in the world. Young Elvis Smylie won on debut and has had a huge start to his time here on LIV, and it feels like Josele Ballester is close to a huge breakthrough. David Puig seems inevitable but hasn't been able to finish on top yet. So many exciting storylines already this season! The Masters is almost here and here's hoping that the LIV guys play well! And LIV Mexico the week after! Look forward to seeing the rest of this awesome season play out! #LIVGolf

This isn't a dig at Buium, but 5 months ago Lane Hutson signed a an 8 x $8.85M extension after scoring 66 points in 82 games. Buium currently has 23 points. What is the justification for handing Buium that same contract? #Canucks

If you can get Buium locked in for 8x8-9 you do it. By the time that contract is in its latter stages and he is in his prime the best d-men in the league will be making well over 20 per and as you are contending you have a top 4 D making less than half of that. #Canucks
NHL Rumour Report@NHLRumourReport

Rick Dhaliwal: On the Canucks to-do list this summer will be getting an extension done with Zeev Buium, I see a lot of people thinking...8 years and $8 million per; if it's an 8 year deal I can see it being $9m plus - Donnie & Dhali (3/24)
