Ah yes common mistake. People believe that “eating right” & making “healthy” choices imbues them w/a kind of magical virtue power, similar to religious purity, where they will be rewarded w/good luck. All wellness culture is built on this belief, all built on classism & ableism.

Being healthy is not morally superior to being unhealthy. The rewards for making “healthy” choices are, hopefully, feeling strong & healthy, but there is no guarantee that you will be rewarded by God w/eternal good health & good fortune bc you ate your leafy greens. Sorry!
