"don't forget, kris. you promised." because they really almost did forget. i don't know what drove them to make that promise, but they have something now that they didn't have then. something that's worth fighting for. there's an impossible choice creeping up on them.

...kris' resolve is really starting to waver by the end of ch. 4, huh? things are coming to a head, and it's getting harder for them to ignore. they stare at susie, unable to say what's on their mind. "we aren't gonna let that happen, right?" what's really more important, kris?

game theory: kris plays songs we haven't heard yet because they've secretly been the real composer of deltarune's soundtrack the whole time

it's crazy how my guilt for controlling kris has faded after ch 3 & 4. the vessel i created was discarded, and i was forced to occupy their body instead as part of the plan kris promised to carry out. like the situation sucks but now i understand neither of us have clear agency
