Concluding our month-long celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month! Students enjoyed engaging in painting workshops that focused on the story of alebrijes, playing lotería, and exploring various cultural treats. 😊

We kicked off our Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations today with a special guest: Chavez alumna @seleniapaws. As a published author, she has crafted books and short stories inspired by her Hispanic Heritage. Thank you once again, Ms. Paz, for motivating our students to write!

Kudos to our dedicated Lobo Readers that competed today in HISD's Name That Book Club Competition. They did a great job and are excited to compete again next year 😎

Thank you to the Houston Public Library for visiting our library during TEEN TOBER to share the wonderful resources they have. Students inquired about the college application process with Café College, used 3-D printers with Tech Link and met the manager from Park Place Library.

Happy Friday! Today students enjoyed a fun filled time playing Loteria as we kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month.

Thank you to our NTB members and library assistants who helped prepare for our Loteria Event today. Everyone had a great time!

In celebration of library sign-up month, students attended library orientation and searched for books. Thank you teachers for promoting literacy and bringing your classes to the Lobo Library.

Last week some happy readers eagerly checked out books to enjoy for the long 3 day weekend. Today they stopped by to return them. Read a book, get a cool decal😊
